We've made a slight change of plan! Our Player Awards Night will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, as we celebrate the past season and look forward to the next one.

Tickets are £10 per person, which includes a pie and peas supper, plus a free pint (beer or lager).

Walking Rugby is here at Worksop RUFC!!!

Please make the effort all that have been asking to join this great game, which is being demonstrated by the walking rugby team members from Lincoln RUFC, who their member Adrian France (Frenchie) demonstrated the sport at the Midlands RFU conference a couple of months ago.

I have asked Frenchie to demonstrate the rules of the game at our own club on August 8th Thursday night at 7pm, where he is coming across very kindly with a car full of his mates from Lincoln.

So let's get this set up after asking, and let's have a good night of non contact fun for all. Don't forget your gumshield lol. Plus of course we can have a beer at the club later :).

I have posted the event so let's put your name down and get this form of rugby going at the club.

If the Thursday nights don't suit after this taster event then we can always suit the majority, so please make the effort firstly until we become established, you never know we could even join a league which I believe now exists.

We are on the look out for new sponsors ahead of the 24/25 season

Worksop Rugby Club has been a central part of the community for over a century, celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2023.

Competing in the Midlands Division 3, the club's future is promising with a revitalized first team and a new junior program.

The club boasts a strong social media presence with over 2800 Facebook followers and 800 on Instagram. They are now offering sponsorship packages to local businesses to support their activities both on and off the pitch.

◼◻𝗙𝗜𝗫𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

We are excited to announce the fixtures for the upcoming season!

We kick off the campaign at home against our local rivals, Retford.

Away days to Sleaford and North Hykeham are back on the fixture list this year after a year's absence.

We have two trips to the seaside this year when we travel to Skegness and Cleethorpes. 🏝

Our final game of 2024 will see us travel to Meden Vale.
