Only 1 week to go before entries close for our Cadet 1* on Sunday 17th March. We have a few places still available for this competition, so if you are thinking about playing, then make sure you get your entry in.

Wow what a weekend for the club!

Blitz Junior 1 Star - we held another junior 1 star competition at the club today, and received some fantastic feedback once again from many people. Well done to Will Short who finished runner up for the event by the narrowest of margins. Well done also to Sam Batty who finished one place behind Will in 3rd place and to Anna Wong, who put up a great fight.

Vetts British League (VBL) - also a massive Congratulations to club coach Mark Short, who alongside his team mates managed to win the Premier Division of VBL, and therefore be crowned British League champions. Not only did Mark’s team win, but Mark himself won the final match 12-10 in the fifth, to secure the title for the team. If he’d have lost, the title would also have been lost!!

Also a massive well done to Sarah Short, who was also playing at VBL this weekend, and helped her team maintain their position in the Premier Division

Last day for entries is today (Friday 2nd Feb), for our Blitz TTC Junior 1 star, being held at Redlands Primary School in Worksop.

Well done to our NJL team who yesterday competed in Huddersfield and managed to finish joint top of Division 3.

Our attention today turns to the Worksop league Championships, where we have a large number of players competing. Good luck to all those players.

Well done to Anna Wong who was our sole competitor at the Hull 1 star today finishing a very respectable 8th in the under 13's and 15th in the under 15's events, both events were mixed boys and girls making her results even more impressive.

Blitz Singles League
Every Monday 7 - 9pm
Our singles league is open every Monday, available for players to turn up on the night and play in competitive singles matches.
All abilities are welcome. Where possible, we try to arrange groups/matches in order of ability so that all matches can be competitive.

Another successful day at National Cadet League.
Our first team managed to keep their place in the top division after some close matches.
Our second team won 3 out of 4 matches, meaning they finished top in division 4 and are now promoted into division 3.
An extra well done goes to Reuben who won all of his matches today.

Today our Senior British League team have been in action at Draycott TTC. A solid 7-2 win in the morning against Birmingham followed by a 6-3 loss to table topping Draycott. The match stood at 3-3 but unfortunately the last 3 matches didn't go our way. Still lots of positives to take into the last weekend in April.

This weekend two of our over 40 players made the long journey to Ashford to represent Nottinghamshire in the County championships premier division.
The team won all 3 matches and sit joint top with Hertfordshire, meaning all to play for in the second weekend. Can Notts win the title and make it 8 years on the trot!

Our British League side have been in action this weekend at Draycott, there was some fantastic play from Terry, Sarah, Orestas and William. The team won 2 and lost 2 matches and everyone contributed to the team. We currently sit in 4th position in the table.

Well done to our Junior National League team of Sam, David, and Josh, who won 2 matches and lost 3 in Huddersfield today. Great experience to take forward for the rest of the season.

Another busy night down at Redlands.

Our Junior Coaching Session runs every Tuesday 6.00 - 7.30pm at Redlands Primary School, Worksop.

All abilities are welcome. We have plenty of equipment available to borrow if needed.

Format - groups followed by playing out for position eg. First round = Pos 1-16, win and you play for Positions 1-8, lose and play for positions 9-16.

Maximum entry of 32 - if 32 players attend, you are guaranteed 7 singles matches
