As summer seems to be bidding us a fond farewell and I’ve begrudgingly put the shorts away how about this little gem to look forward to.

Tasha made our fabulous cake for our Alne Party in the Park on Alne recreation ground this afternoon. It looked amazing and tasted fantastic. Enjoyed by everyone.
Well the weather could have been warmer, but the atmosphere certainly made up for it. Great turnout, so thank you to everyone who came. Lots of fun, laughter music, drinks - egg and spoon and sack race, tug of war, family football and lots of fun all round. Thank you so much to Ian, Chris and everybody else who helped set it all up. Brilliant afternoon, we must do it again. And an amazing celebration cake made by Tasha. Not only looked fantastic, but it tasted brilliant as well. Thank you to everyone who took.
Another fab local event. No plans this weekend? Get yourself down.
Great opening act at The Magpies Festival yesterday. I love the North Yorkshire approach to crowd control.
I believe there may be day tickets left today if you fancy a fantastic day out on your doorstep.
Another fabulous event on our doorstep. If you’re quick I think there are few tickets left.

From the Tombola Team at the Alne Street Fayre, an absolutely huge thank you to everyone for all your donations, help and custom. You helped make the Tombola stall and our raffle the best ever. We raised a magnificent £1682. This is a record and we are so grateful to everyone, who donated, gave their time and helped on the stall. Thank you so much to my wonderful Tombola team. It is a demanding job carried out over a few months preceding the fayre and you are amazing and worked tirelessly to make it the best ever. And to all our local businesses who donated the most wonderful prizes. You are the best. We can’t do it without all of you, so thank you to everybody.
Foryour information, monies raised from the Fayre go toward Alne's recreation ground for the benefit of children and adults alike,. Much work has already been carried out with more to follow.
Hi Folks
