Today we are sad to share the news that several customers have come in and cleared our shelves of all of our truffles!

We know that’s what they are there for but we have been overwhelmed with your visits and support!

We are restocking as soon as our hands can pack them but it won’t be until Wednesday that we will have our shelves restocked and even then we can’t guarantee that some lovely chocolate lovers won’t come in again and do the same.

Reserve yours online but it’s likely we’ll have to turn our collection ordering off early this week.

We hate to disappoint but we can only make what we can make.

Well done Sainsbury's making more steps to reduce their packaging impact! I love sharing chocolate but I am never comfortable with Easter, paying more for the air in the middle than the chocolate you enjoy, relying on plastic packaging to show off the chocolate and having to put so much stuffing in to ensure they arrive safely.

This year our team have consciously reduced our range to reduce our waste and the negative impact our indulgences have.

We’re delighted to be sharing a very special collection this Easter.

This month marks 5 years of chocolate making since we built and opened York Cocoa Works based on a vision to bring real chocolate making back to York, to work directly with cocoa growing communities and to share our chocolate creations, learnings and experiences with fellow chocolate lovers.

We know that many of us are torn between the challenges of rising costs, climate impact and having those special treats to enjoy, so we’ve crafted a special collection to share with all of those things in mind. This Easter we’re delighted to share our new House dark and milk chocolate, crafted with cocoa from the Fire Mountain region of Cameroon where the live volcanic soil of Mount Cameroon helps create a rich cocoa flavour we have loved working with.

The final treat in our Advent Calendar is our 65% Dark Chocolate Orange Cocoa Pod, made with cocoa sourced directly from our friends in Nigeria. Today's advent calendar treat is a 65% Moderately dark chocolate made from Ghanaian cocoa, in the West Africa.

Ghana is the 2nd largest producer of cocoa in the world, after The Ivory Coast, producing 800,000-900,000 tonnes each year!
