This month is another new region for us - Ningxia in China.

Xige Estate - founded in 2017 by Zhang Yanzhi, it is a young winery that is challenging & leading the development of a New Era of Chinese Fine Wine. It is also a sizeable project, in fact the biggest in the region with 2000 hectares under vine. They produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Gernischt, a stunning Chardonnay and more.

A successful tasting of iconic South African wines from Kanonkop, Villiera, and Hartenberg would showcase some of the best wines the country has to offer.

Kanonkop is known for its full-bodied and elegant reds, while Villiera offers a range of sparkling wines and crisp whites. Hartenberg, on the other hand, is renowned for its rich, complex red blends.

During the tasting, guests had the opportunity to sample some rare back vintages & limited releases. Learn about the unique characteristics of each wine. We hope this tasting would have provided guests feeling satisfied, informed, and with a newfound appreciation for quality South African wines.
