Best wishes to Mr Paul Connolly and Ms Nuala Farrell who retired last week from their teaching roles at St Kilian’s. Paul and Nuala have been two of the school’s most dedicated and popular teachers, for forty and thirty years respectively. We thank them for all that they have done for St Kilian’s and its students and we extend best wishes to them both for long and the happiest of retirements.

We are delighted to announce that Lucy Doyle and Adam Windsor have been selected as Head Girl and Head Boy for the 2024-2025 school year.

Congratulations also to Emma Nolan and Eduard Carausu for being selected as Deputy Head Girl and Deputy Head Boy. We know you will make a great team.

Well done also to the other prefects who put themselves forward for the roles. You all did yourselves proud and we are so lucky to have such amazing students in St Kilian's.

Great day today in University College Dublin learning about the UCD ALL and looking through the Traveller archives in the folklore museum on campus, we were joined by students from St Kilian's Community School and Loreto Bray

On Thursday we celebrated our 6th Year's Graduation. An amazing group who will be missed. Thank you to all involved in making it a great evening. We wish the class of 2024 all the best with their upcoming exams. See you all tomorrow for your block classes!

The Parents Mosaic group is winding down for the summer, after a hugely successful year under the guidance of teacher and mentor Greg Murray from Signal Arts. Watch this space for their latest project, which will resume in September. It's going to be very special indeed☀️

That's a "rap" .. our paired reading programme finished up last Friday morning, with pupils and parents composing some very catchy rap songs 🎵 Sincere thanks to our hugely committed group of parents, who have given their time every Friday for the past year, to work with pupils on all sorts of wonderful projects, story telling, story writing and, of course rapping. We have been very fortunate to have had you on board ❤️

What a wonderful morning in aid of for the East Coast FM coffee morning. Sincere thanks to all who supported this event and to our wonderful PA for organising. Total raised will be announced next week. ☀️

All systems go for our coffee morning on Friday, in aid of the Wicklow Hospice and cancer support services. Drop up anytime between 9 and 12, for coffee and a cake and support this very worthwhile cause. We will have a tap machine available also, along with cash buckets. There will be a raffle on the day, with fantastic prizes to be won. All proceeds go directly to Wicklow Hospice.

The Parents Association is asking for donations of baked goods for their coffee morning. If you can contribute, it would be much appreciated. Please drop donations into Ciara Fitzpatrick on or before Friday, 26th April

Auf Wiedersehen to our German visitors and safe travels back to Germany. It was a pleasure to have you here. Thank you to our own wonderful students and their families for hosting! We are already looking forward to our own trip to Germany in June ☀️

Students from St. Kilian's CS and Matthias Grünewald Gymnasium attended a civic reception in Bray Town Hall Wednesday. Sincere thanks to Cathaoirleach Melanie Corrigan and all the councillors & staff from Bray Municipal District for making it such an enjoyable morning for the pupils.

What a wonderful day out walking the Spinc with our 2nd and 4th year pupils and their German exchange partners from Würzburg! Even the shower of hailstones couldn't dampen the spirits! Many thanks to Mr Walsh for guiding us all safely up and back down!

Bray school sings for Kenny Perpetual Cup St Kilian's Bray School Choir sang their hearts out to bring home the Kenny Perpetual Cup from the Arklow Music Festival, which took place on Sunday, March 3.
