Using AI in Jobseeking: tips for creating effective CVs and cover letters

During the month of July, SECAD will be running workshops that will cover how to use AI when creating CVs and cover letters. Participants will learn how to use AI-driven platforms to improve the structure, content, and keywords of their CVs and cover letters to match job descriptions more effectively.

The FREE workshops will be held in the following locations subject to demand:

• Cobh
• Midleton
• Millstreet
• Youghal

We were so saddened to hear of the passing of Eleanor Geraghty who was so well known and liked in Carrigtwohill. She started the Tuesday club back in 2006 and it’s still going strong today. She worked tirelessly for the community through the years. She helped with the car boot sales and community care, and was a committed member of Community Council, attending meetings up until her recent illness. She was a deeply religious person, and took great pride in keeping the church looking its best over the years.

She’ll be sadly missed.
Her life’s work done, may she rest now in eternal peace.
