🌅 Waking up in the winter before the sun rises can throw this rhythm off balance. When we rise before the sun, our bodies miss out on the natural light exposure that helps regulate our circadian clock, and this can lead to disruptions in the release of cortisol, our stress hormone. 😴

💡 But fear not! Here are some tips to help you optimize your sleep and well-being:

1️⃣ Embrace Morning Sunlight: Try to catch those precious rays as early as possible. It helps reset your internal clock and boost mood.

2️⃣ Evening Wind Down: Establish a calming bedtime routine. Avoid screens at least 2 hours before bed to reduce blue light exposure.

3️⃣ Consistent Sleep Schedule: Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends.

4️⃣ Mindful Eating: Avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. Opt for light, sleep-friendly snacks.

5️⃣ Create a Cozy Sleep Environment: Make your bedroom a sleep sanctuary. Dark, cool, and quiet.
