Missy and Daisy went missing yesterday evening. Their owners are very worried. Missy is bigger with a brown patch on her eye, Daisy is smaller and is microchipped, unfortunately Missy is not. They may be seen together but also possible they have separated.

Her name was Lola! 🌺
Lola is a gorgeous 1yr old Hungarian Vizsla. She has been a frequent face over the past few weeks due to a stubborn ear infection.

Unfortunately, ear infections are never a quick fix and can require up to 2 weeks of treatment with essential rechecks. This is why you should ensure to follow the plan your vet has put in place to treat them.

Otitis is a common condition in dogs with many possible causes. Some breeds are more prone to inflammation and infections, like Lola's breed with the pendulous ears.
Signs of otitis are;
👂Bad-smelling ears
👂Ear scratching and/or head shaking
👂Sensitive to touch ear, swelling or redness
👂Head tilt or discharge

At 14yrs of age, Rocky has certainly got the "fighters fight" in him!

Donal has had the pleasure of caring for Rocky all throughout his life. 🥰 They first met in 2010 when the practice was located on Quin Street...yes, that long ago!

It was a 'see you next year' relationship, with Rocky only visiting for his essential and basic healthcare. 🤝 Until in 2017, Rocky had a life threatening experience when he was attacked by another dog which left him with severe injuries. Donal preformed a life saving surgery where Rocky went under extensive skin grafts and rehabilitation. Needless to say Rocky made a full recovery, and the rest is history!
