Only when your mind is ready, you can successfully work on losing weight. When you open our mind and when you prepare yourself mentally for the journey, you will start finding all positive reasons to stay healthy and you will make ways to eat healthy. You will be ok to cook for yourself, you will exercise effortlessly, you will be happy to pack foods for yourself and you will always make wise choices wherever you are. You will flow easily and comfortably.

On the contrary, If you are not mentally prepared, then you will only find excuses. Even drinking water can become a task! You will resist the change and you will constantly be negative - primarily because your mind is not ready.

It all begins in the mind, in the head! So set that right and then you will see how effortlessly you are able to eat healthy and lose weight 😍

As we look back on the February 2024 journey, we are glad to see the growth in international clientele. Month on month, we see a spike in this number and we are extremely grateful to all our clients for inspiring more and more people to get healthier.

We always had clients from the US, UAE, Singapore and Europe regions for about 2-3 years but now Australia has joined the game too. We are so delighted to see such global presence with technology being a boon to connect people across geographies 🌎🌍🌏🗺️

Am so grateful to my super team for being such a pillar of support and for being skilled to handle clients from all parts of the globe. It does come with a lot of research, study, analysis and adaptability which I think the team is able to display comfortably, simply because of the passion. When you are asked to do a presentation, your stomach may start churning.

When you think of your performance reviews, you may experience a discomfort in your stomach.

When you are stressed at work and have slept less, you may experience acidity or chest burning.

When you are hurrying and anxious at work and eat everything that's available and on the go, you may experience bloating and constipation.

Your gut is a classic reflector of what's going on in your head. So much of research is happening around this strong relationship between the gut and the brain and its absolutely true that the influence is vice versa.

Your gut also indicates when things aren't going right and when you have to slow down and make changes. The intervention to handle this may have to be nutritional, physical, therapeutic or psychological. In any case, do not ignore the signs that your gut is giving out!

HbA1c test is a blood test that is used to diagnose type II diabetes and it’s an average of 3 months blood glucose values.

When should you get your HbA1c tested?

Here are a few conditions when you need to get your HbA1c tested.

👉 If you are over 40 years of age.
👉 If there is a history of diabetes in the family
👉If you have diabetes symptoms such as frequent thirst, frequent urination, sweating, too much hunger, unexplained weight loss, numbness, nerve weakness etc.
👉 If you are overweight
👉 If you have PCOS
👉 If you are leading a sedentary lifestyle

Once in 6-12 months, it’s good to get the HbA1c tested to keep a check on your glucose levels and to make dietary and lifestyle modifications accordingly and to avoid any further damage.

It’s World Diabetes Day! 💙

Let me share 7 simple and effective dietary strategies to manage Diabetes. Do save this for future reference 👇

🩸Include fiber from vegetables and whole grains in all your meals. This will slow down glucose release.

🩸Drink 2-3 liters of water daily to flush our toxins and to enhance glucose utilisation, absorption and excretion.

🩸Add healthy fats such as nuts, seeds, ghee, coconuts etc as they can slow down glucose release too.

🩸Avoid buying the so called “diabetic friendly” processed foods. Instead, just snack on simple home made foods or fruits in moderation.

🩸Switch to complex carbohydrates such as brown rice, red rice, millets, oats, wheat etc instead of refined grains as they are high in glycemic index.

🩸Protein rich foods such as sprouts, pulses, dals, dairy, nuts, seeds, eggs, chicken and fish etc are majorly comprised of amino acids than carbohydrates and hence can be included regularly.

🩸And finally, restrict all forms of sugar as much as possible. If need be, include jaggery or brown sugar or dry fruits to cater to the sweet cravings.
