My new completed yesterday. Drawn with white pencil on black sheet. Normally, we draw with black or on white sheets. Where we want a line or shadow, we draw with dark colors. But It is quite difficult to draw with white pencil on black sheet. We have to leave the black background where we need a shadow or line. We need to bring out relief to the details with white pencil. This is a or just of my friend Sivakumar...
During early 80s, we were thick friends. Sivakumar, very calm, composed, goal oriented friend. Our youth have been much given to being activists in a Communist party along with other friends, because our friends group have been fascinated by the commune concepts of Carl Marx and V.E. Lenin. Later we personally became partners in our first business venture, though tiny, but started with an investment of just ₹300 those days. Now he is a state committee member and trade union secretary of that party, but i have drifted long back. But I really enjoy remembering those friendships and miss them very much.
