The adjourned conciliation meeting on our strike notice was held today by CLC in Delhi. During the proceedings IBA reiterated that since the issue of recruitment is part of the charter of demands, it would be discussed with AIBEA/UFBU. CLC also advised and IBA agreed to isuue a circular to banks to maintain status quo on outsourcing. In view of this, our proposed strike on 19th and 20th Jan has been withdrawn. The solidarity strike call given by AIBOA (Com. Krishnakumar and Com.Sanjay Khan) has also been withdrawn.
