Today we had a lovely graduation ceremony at for our 200-Hr Yoga Teacher Training Course students. Every student deserves to be in this space. As they work with dedication and passion to learn the insights of yoga. It's incredible to see how they handle their professional life and try to create balance with yogic lifestyle. 

I must say once they take up this yoga training, getting transformed is inevitable.

We often try to find love in certain forms or seek love in certain situations. But the entire nature is filled with love. Our own being is made of love. It is not seen in the way we behave, or the way we carry ourselves. It is the way we are! 

Only when we stop seeing ourselves in a certain way, we become that love. ♥️ 

So our duty is not to seek for love but to drop the idea of love in our mind. 💯

Food Talk Alert ⚠️
Part 3

Here is a picture of me having weekend meal.😋 I chose to have protein based soup and one of the choices of Roti or Rice in my main meal. 🍱🍽

In Indian meals we have a habit of eating wheat based Roti along with Dal & Rice.
Rice and Roti both are the portion of carbs which makes us full very soon and we end up having less portion of fibre and protein like Dal, vegetables, salads etc. 🤷‍♀️ 

Here are a few guidelines on what to choose and what to drop on your weekend outing meal.👇

❌️ Say NO to - Refined food, Ready to cook, highly processed food etc.
✔️GO for - Fresh fruits, salads, different vegetables, Protein based meals.

Be aware of the combinations you have in your outdoor meals, 
eg. Having dessert after a non-vegetarian meal, eating fruits or having mocktails along with your meal etc. can affect your digestion process.

The normal eating pattern for health & fitness conscious person is following a discipline on Monday to Friday and enjoying the taste buds on Saturday- Sunday 😋🍔🍝🍰🥧 

Even during that weekend one should be more aware of what food to choose which won't harm their internal system and the efforts made on fitness during the week. 

So eating conscious food doesn't mean that you have to follow a disciplined diet for 365 days but understanding the body type, knowing the digestion process, keeping the track of mood swings, cravings etc. and then taking intake of food consciously that suits your lifestyle. 💫

Our needs are basic but our desires are overstated in our mind. 💯

If we always listen to our food desires we won't be able to adapt to the ideal body and mind we desire. 
So the choice is in our hands. ✋️
Whether to go for desirous food or the deserved food 😄

It has been a remarkable yogic journey I have explored till now which is not possible without guidance, without light and without blessing.
How you would have known, this is the pathway and you have a potential to walk on this path. Only a guru can guide you on the path towards the truth.
Today all the students who trust me and see the light in me are all because of that guru, who could teach me how to ignite the fire within for others.
Thank you Guruji for showing a pathway and sharing infinite love and wisdom. 🙏🙇😇❤️🕉

Corporate yoga is it! 💯

We all are coming from different professions and we all have our own struggles. What common solution we can find among us is practicing YOGA. 💫

No matter which profession you are in or what environment you have around, like a teaching job, corporate workplace environment, travel job or being a housewife somewhere or the other way you go through with a lot of stress. Eventually it takes a toll on your physical & mental state.

Yoga is a powerful tool which helps us to stay in harmony, have better decision making and courage to handle any situation with awareness. 🧘‍♀️

Since it was 21st June'22 an International Yoga day, I am sharing the Glimpses of my corporate yoga sessions conducted to promote physical and mental, health and wellbeing among the corporate world.

The foundation of our fitness is based on what, how and in which proportion we indulge food. 🍲

It is very important to know what type of food suits us, which food can lower our immunity and energy level. 

I prefer experimenting on different types of food and knowing what is best for myself. Being in health and fitness industry since more than 12 years now Mostly I prefer veggies, protein diet, fibrous fruits, minerals and some cheat meals when I hang out with my friends 😉

The food which is light and full of nutrition keeps me going.💪

Since today is World Food Safety day, I hope we all get conscious of our eating and manage to maintain a healthy lifestyle.😇💫

You may ask, Smile without any reason?
If I say YES, it will unleash your hidden source of joy. You may doubt 🤔❔️

But If I say your broad smile will release the tension around your facial muscles, it will loosen up your jaw, it will prevent you from wrinkles and It's a part of facial yoga. You will do it everyday. 😂😂

Initially you have to make an effort. You need to remember. But lateron it becomes spontaneous. Because it is our real nature. Being tensed, stressed, depressed is not our nature.
Have you ever seen a child being stressed or depressed. Child will laugh out loud, cry out loud. His every emotion is pure and spontaneous. Only adults have tendency to control their emotions.
So to get yourself back to your real nature Initially you need to make it a part of a routine. In the beginning you have to do it consciously, purposefully. Later on it becomes natural.😃 It follows you in every situation.👣👣

So smile daily, it's a free therapy. 😄❤️

Make a wish and blow the candles.😗🕯
This is a part of our culture that everyone likes to follow, to blow the Birthday candle and make a wish for our upcoming dreams, so that we can look forward to the year ahead.
But it is very important for Sadhaka to make a conscious wish. Not every wishes we mean at this moment want us to make it happen in the next moment. The things we wish for at this moment might be unwanted at the next moment just like our thoughts 🤯🤯
So instead of wishing as per the need of the present moment or for short-term goals or to desire material things, it is always better to manifest the dreams for the betterment of the whole humanity.

Keeping the vision high, one may wish to invite the health, wealth and happiness of the entire human beings. May the world become more beautiful, happy, sorrow less and harmonious specially at this time of era.🧘‍♀️🕉

On an individual level whenever we wish something, once it gets fulfilled it loses its value. But when we wish for the prosperity of the whole humanity, it connects us to all the conscious beings from the universe to manifest our dreams and we become part of the global conscious movement.🌍☯️💫

So making a wish for our healthy body, tranquil mind and peaceful world.😇🙇‍♀️🙏

It's time to follow the protocols of Pre fasting, Fasting and Post fasting meals as I am starting my sadhana for Chaitra Navratri .

Chaitra navratri begins today on 2nd April and it will get over on 11th April.
Navratri sadhana is a significant period in sadhakas life. It is a time to recharge your energy with courage, will power, faith and devotion. It needs lot of Tapas. It is a time to detoxify your body, mind, emotions through fasting and witnessing.
May this 9 days of sadhana proclaims victory of good over the evil.🙏💫

How to w**d out your negative emotions?
PART 2 
Sage Patanjali says, one needs to cultivate four qualities,  
MAITRI, KARUNA, MUDITA, UPEKSHA🧘‍♀️
These qualities can not be cultivated intentionally or forcefully. But it happens consciously.  
When Sadhaka goes through with certain sadhana. Do a lot of cleansing with Asana, Pranayama, Meditation techniques. Different layers of the mind appear. While going through these cleansing processes the mind exaggerates our inner feelings. It may make you scared, uncomfortable,  and unstable.

By witnessing one can explore all the negative emotions and transform them to these four qualities: 💫💫
Maitri - Friendliness, Karuna - Compassion, Mudita - Cheerfulness and Upeksha - Equanimity,  a non-judgmental attitude.

Sitting silently, doing nothing, 
Spring comes, and the grass grows by itself --💖

Feels good to hear the beautiful Haiku by Zen master Basho but the reality is as soon as we sit silently for meditation thoughts are ready to rush with the rocket speed to enter into our mind.😨😰
Many times we give up and prefer to stay busy in worldly life to avoid the disturbance of mind. Most people are afraid to see the other side of life. When you start preparing for meditation the question arises, Is there anything even lying at the other end of the ocean? 
One needs to have courage, fearlessness to enter into the silent territory of this ocean. 💙

That's why we need guidance to get the right direction on this path. Initially it can be your mentor or a yoga teacher. But if you are fully ready to get that switch in your life, the master, the one who has already crossed the ocean, will appear and walk you through the path of meditation.😇🙏💫

Not all days are the same.💁‍♀️ 
In yogic terms we say some days are Rajasic - overactive, dynamic and some days are Tamasic - impassive, lethargic. 
Some mornings are so energetic that we can jump out of the bed and get into our fitness or yoga routine.
And
Some days are so lazy that the whole day we can sit on the couch and watch Netflix, YouTube or surf on Instagram.

How to find that balance.🤔
How to find that Sattvic state mentally as well as physically. 🧘‍♀️
Yoga is all about finding that balance within you. 😇
"Samatvaṁ yoga uchyate" - Equanimity is Yog.

To find that balance and stay motivated for my everyday practice, sometimes I work on advanced postures which challenges my mind and body. That's how I sustain myself on the yoga mat everyday. 

Pose of the Day :
Vatayanasana : Horse face pose

This asana is from the intermediate series, and requires a lot of preparation,  focus and regular practice. 

Preparatory asanas :
🌟Garudasana
🌟Ardha Padmasana
🌟Ardha Baddha Padmottanasana

Precautions :
🎗One shouldn't practice in case of ankle, knee, hip injury
🎗Avoid incase of any back related issues.
🎗Enough warm up and mastery over preparatory asanas are required.

🎀Increases the flexibility and strengthens the muscles and bones of the lower region. 
🎀Improves blood circulation around the hip area.
🎀It also Improves the posture.
🎀Enhances balance and concentration.
