Under the guidance of iqac, Sk college of science and commerce, department of management studies organised the mock test for HSC students to enroll in various stream like BCA BBA BMS and BBM under Mumbai University for the MAH CET 2024 entrance exam on 29th April 2024 at 11.00 am. Almost 200 students from our inhouse branches of tilak junior college of nerul, vashi and ghansoli attended the mock test. It was a widely appreciated initiative for giving a flavor of the entrance examination. The Mock test provided practice and helped students familiarize themselves with the exam format. The registration process and syllabus were also briefed to participants we wish good luck to all the participants for their CET exam.

Under the guidance of IQAC, S.K. College of Science and Commerce , EC Committee organised a sessions on 15 April 2024 on environmental issues and emission of cabon footprint . Students attended the session with great curiosity to understand the environmental problems and their solution for sustainable development. The session will support and facilitate students to take initiative to reduce the carbon emissions and other environmental problem. They will understand the significace the government schemes and initiative that need people participation to make it successful

Under the guidance of IQAC, Placement Committee of Tilak Education Society’s, S. K. College of Science and Commerce organized a Job Fair on 4th February 2024 for all the third year students. There were 16 companies who had participated in the job fair. 119 inhouse and 25 external students attended the placement drive. Many students got shortlisted and selected for the final round of placement.

Under the guidance of IQAC, the Academic Committee organised the convocation ceremony 2022-23 batches on 30th March 2024. The event was conducted in two batches.It began with welcoming and felicitation of dignitaries. It was followed by the ritual of lamp lighting. A very motivating speech was given by our Director Dr Ajit Kurup Sir. Then the much awaited ceremony of awarding the certificates to the students by the dignitaries was conducted. Convocation photographs was also conducted of all the batches. Students were happy to receive their certificates.

Under the guidance of IQAC, the Extension Unit's DLLE of S.K. College of Science and Commerce organized a session on Artificial Intelligence on 19th March 2024. The speaker for the session was Mr. Priyanshu Mishra, the founder of Brainwave..
The session focused on delving into the advancements of artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications across diverse domains. It offered valuable insights into the latest developments in AI, VR, and ML, spanning from technical progressions to ethical considerations. Students were educated about the improving ability of computers to comprehend and generate languages.
Furthermore, students gained knowledge about various applications utilized in daily life for fundamental purposes.

Under the guidance of IQAC,Cultural Committee of S K College of Science and Commerce conducted farewell for TY students. The program was attended by dignitaries Anil sir and Heena mam.The evening had dance,music and some interesting games arranged by the SYs.There was an interesting Atrangi Awards given to TY students. The student councils were awarded with a gift for their enthusiastic work.The program ended with a dance party and snacks.

Under the guidance of IQAC, S.K. College of Science and Commerce, Department of Commerce and Allied Studies had organized a bank visit to Federal Bank (Nerul Branch) for TYBBI students on 13th and 14th March, 2024 at 4pm.
The students gained insight into how banking establishments operate and the various services they offer to their customers. During the visit students observed the various processes and procedures that take place in the bank and was able to interact with the staff and understand the intricacies of banking.

Under the guidance of IQAC, S.K. College of Science and Commerce's Extension Unit, DLLE conducted the 2nd term orientation on March 9th, 2024. The orientation was led by the field coordinator, Dr. Sheetal Sawant. She explained the final report writing of the DLLE project, which comprises all the events conducted during the year and an essay regarding any social issues.

Under the guidance of IQAC, IV committee has organized a visit to BSE for the first year and third year students on 11th March 2024.

The students gained the knowledge about the Indian Capital market and Indian economy, basic knowledge of share market along with data handling using big data and hadoop and view live terminal.

Under the guidanceIQAC, Extension unit's Rotaract club of S.K college of science and commerce organized Women’s Day on March 7th, 2024. This event successfully united Rotaractors and non-Rotaractors from various classes to honor and appreciate the women in our community. We organized various engaging games tailored for the girls, accompanied by a heartfelt video created by boys expressing messages of empowerment and gratitude for Women’s Day. Additionally, our club crafted special cards to convey gratitude to all the girls, teachers, and staff members. The primary aim of the event was to ensure that the girls and women felt valued and cherished. Consequently, there was a noticeable strengthening of bonds among the girls, reminding us all of our collective bravery and resilience. This event served as a poignant reminder of the care and respect that the boys in our community have for the women around them.

In association with IQAC ,Institutional Innovation Cell of Tilak Education Society’s, S. K. College of Science and Commerce organised a seminar on on ‘Innovation in entrepreneurship - From Idea to Impact’ by Mr. Nilesh Sarwate, strategy head MSSU on 9th March 2024. Overall, the seminar served as a comprehensive guide to navigating the entrepreneurial journey, equipping participants with the tools and mindset needed to turn ideas into impactful ventures. It also provided guidance on prototyping, developing minimum viable products, and iterating based on user feedback. Furthermore, participants gained knowledge on diverse business models, strategies for scaling, and methods for measuring impact and managing risks.

Under the guidance of IQAC, the Extension Unit's DLLE of S.K. College of Science and Commerce organized a presentation for DLLE volunteers on March 5, 2024. Students were tasked with presenting their perspectives on various social and environmental issues in society. This opportunity provided students with an understanding of the issues in society.

Under the guidance of IQAC ,the Department of management studies of S.K college of science and commerce conducted a debate on topic " Budget 2024 par charcha" for all fy sy & tybms students.Initially a group discussion was conducted to encourage students in exchanging ideas and to have a brainstorming over key points of budget 2024 . Then selected students in group discussion had a debate competition in which group A and group B passionately discussed their views on the government budget. A quiz competition relevant to budget was also given to students which enabled them to test their knowledge & enhance their understanding of budget concepts.
Finally these activities received positive feedback from students and we observed active participation and enthusiasm among them.

On 11/03/2024 , S.K.College of Science and Commerce NSS unit received recognition from the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) for the exceptional dedication to cleanliness initiatives. Their efforts were instrumental in earning Navi Mumbai the title of the second cleanest city in India. The event was attended by esteemed guests including Mr. Rajesh Narvekar, Commissioner of NMMC, Mrs. Sujata Dhole, Additional Commissioner, Mr. Babasaheb Rajale, Deputy Commissioner.

Under the guidance of the IQAC, UDITA program congratulated Dr. Shraddha Sable and Mrs. Shikha Pandey for writing an article in a special edition of Ketaki Prakashan on the occasion of Women's Day on 8th March 2024. The article was on women's adaptability towards various roles in society.

Under the guidance of IQAC, placement cell of S.K. College of Science and Commerce organized a placement drive on 5th March 2024. The event was conducted in collaboration with BAJAJ ALLIANZ General Insurance Company and MIDSHIPMITE RECRUITERS PVT LTD, specifically for third-year students.Fifteen students participated in the recruitment process conducted by MIDSHIPMITE RECRUITERS PVT LTD, while seven students appeared for BAJAJ ALLIANZ General Insurance Company. All students underwent personal interviews as part of the selection process.Three students have been successfully selected for positions with MIDSHIPMITE RECRUITERS PVT LTD. Additionally, all participating students gained valuable insights into the selection procedures of both companies and learned more about their respective profiles and offerings.
