TCS forcing employees to transfer to different base locations: NITES NITES alleged that TCS has initiated transfers of employees to different base locations without consulting the employees. The affected employees are required to relocate to the new location within 14 days or stand to have their salaries deducted. ET has reviewed a copy of the letter.

NITES has filed a complaint with the Ministry of Labour and Employment against Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for its unethical transfer practices. TCS has been forcing employees to transfer to different cities without proper notice or consultation, causing immense hardship for them and their families. We urge the Ministry to investigate TCS's actions and take appropriate measures to protect IT workers from such unethical practices.

Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) is taking a stand on behalf of over 2,000 lateral recruits who have been adversely affected by the unexpected delay in their onboarding process by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). These professionals, with varying experience levels ranging from 1.8 to 15 years, now find themselves without a source of income and are facing financial distress and are unable to meet family responsibilities.
NITES has urged the Ministry of Labour and Employment to intervene in this matter and issue specific directives to TCS to:
1. Pay the affected employees their full salaries for the months for which their onboarding has been delayed.
2. Provide the affected employees with access to TCS's employee assistance program.
3. Collaborate with the affected employees to identify alternative employment opportunities within TCS.

Hinjwadi: It has being discovered that in Maharashtra’s biggest IT Hub Hinjwadi has no Public Sanitation houses. Everyday thousands of commuters visiting Hinjwadi are facing tremendous problems due to the same. They have no option
but to make use of private toilets at Hotels and Malls.
Due to lack of public sanitation houses Women’s, elderly citizens as well as handicapped persons are facing tremendous issues. In the five star Hinjwadi IT Park there are more than 126 small as well as big companies. Thousands of
citizens visit Hinjwadi IT Park every day for employment, business and other related activities. The number of highly qualified Young males and females visiting Hinjwadi IT Park is much more. There are many empty land available which is acquired by MIDC.
NITES hereby makes a demand to PMRDA and MIDC that they should look towards this issue pertaining to lack of Sanitation houses seriously and should build proper, clean and hygienic Sanitation Houses and make available the same to the public.
Senior citizens and women have no options but to visit nearby hotels or
malls in emergencies. Making use of Toilets at Hotels and Malls is risky because there were incidences happened few days back in Hinjwadi area where hidden cameras were found in Toilets of Hotels and Malls for recording purposes.
Hence making the use of Toilets at Hotels as well as Malls is not secure.

Capgemini Fires 500 Indian Employees; Here Is The Reason Why
Technology giants — Capgemini, Infosys and Cognizant — are aggressively cutting jobs across levels.
After Cognizant & Infosys French technology multinational Capgemini has axed almost 500 jobs in India to increase productivity.
Meanwhile, Infosys is expected to layoff almost 10% of its workforce — accounting for 12,000 jobs.
These layoffs comes on the back of ongoing job cuts in Cognizant. According to a recent announcement, as many as 7,000 mid and senior level jobs are on the line — accounting for 2% of its workforce.

Dear CEO
If you need to remove some of us then go ahead and do that. But please stop sending emails every now and then about your lay-off plan for the sake of company's growth. Employee's can not be haunted like that, please understand that we need a free and peaceful mind to deliver or provide service to our customers. It can not be done with a disturbed mind. Sending emails like that in every month does not help your employees to be more productive.
Show little more maturity, perhaps you need to learn the same from your predecessor.
