Mr Ranjith Pandithage, The Chairman of Diesel and Motor Engineering PLC, a distinguished Old Anandian has been elected the President of Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) Colombo.

This is the first time an Anandian has headed the most prestigious cricket club in SL.

He is a genuine Anandian who has contributed in numerous ways towards the development of his Alma mater

ඉහත තරඟාවලිය 2024 .04.30 - 2024.05.10 දක්වා පැවැත්වුණු අතර රටවල් 26 ක් නියෝජනය කරමින් ක්‍රීඩකයින් 1200 ක් සහභාගි විය .

Winning all men's events by substantial margins.Winning Gordon Armstrong Scull trophy with Ananda VS Ananda Final and Winning the Vangenberg Pair Trophy for the second consecutive year. The winning crews are as follows.

● Gordon Armstrong Scull Winner- Ramindu Aryasinghe
2nd Place - Ichira Sithmal

The Ananda College Rowing Crew became runners up at the 39th Sri Lanka National Rowing Championships held at the Diyawanna Rowing Centre from April 4th to the 6th.

Although the crew consisted of many new faces, they managed to put up a valiant effort in the gruelling 4 days Regatta.Results are as follows.

●Gold Medal in Two events.

Under 16 Pair.
Under 16 Coxed four.

●Silver Medal in one event.

Under 16 Pair.

●Bronze medal in two events.

Under 16 Double Scull.
Under 14 Double Scull.

●Fourth Place in two events.

Under 18 Pair.
Under 16 Single Scull.
