The Erasmus+ funded "STEM4Humanities" initiative aims to change the stereotypes of humanities education by integrating the opportunities offered by STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) methods. The project aims to develop courses for educators in the humanities. The course material will allow teachers and lecturers to creatively update and expand their existing educational knowledge, their teaching methodologies, and to master the new approaches and resources offered by STEM.

In order to assess the current knowledge of the educators, the project participants developed a 10-minute self-assessment questionnaire which was answered by educators in the humanities. The questionnaire will reveal which STEM areas have existing skills and where they need to improve.

This three-part questionnaire provided a detailed analysis of existing knowledge and how ideas and resources offered by STEM can be incorporated into humanities disciplines. By completing this questionnaire and engaging in the training provided by this project, educators have the opportunity to change and improve the humanities of the future, opening up new pathways for students.

The results of the questionnaire will be known at the end of July and will shed light on the knowledge of teachers and lecturers in the STEM field and will help the project to develop informative and useful virtual courses for educators.
