Riga 2022 - The 96th International Session of the European Youth parliament

One of the evening events of the session gathered participants for an engaging panel discussion about opportunities for young people in the technology sector.

Hosted at the Latvijas Universitāte premises, experts from various tech companies shared their insights and experience with the youth - CEO of SIA "MAK IT" Arvis Zeile, PR Director of TestDevLab Kristaps Skutelis , CLO of https://gravityteam.co/ Mārtiņš Puķe as well as Co-Founder and CEO of Jānis Kreilis. Thanks to all the speakers of the panel discussion! The event participants were left inspired to explore the many opportunities that technologies can offer both on individual as well as societal level.

Here are some words from the editresses:
"Contemporary technologies create the opportunity to expand ways of preserving the cultural heritage and legacy for the future generations. This aspect of the session theme reflects media in the EYP currently - a thing of legacy which has become somewhat standardised, for better or worse, and which needs to adapt to its new environment and digitalised world.
In order for a team of creatives to be successful, productive and, as the name states, creative, a comfortable and structured work environment needs to be established.
Our goal as Editors is to always be available for both emotional and technical support, so that our Media Team feels respected and included personally and professionally.
We are extremely excited to start the work on Riga 2022 and wish for you to join us on our summer journey of fun and innovation!"

Welcome to the team!
Here are some words from the president:
“Digitalisation and technologies are becoming an ever larger part of our daily lives. During Riga 2022 we want to discuss issues connected with this growth and how we can apply lifelong skills to come up with contemporary solutions. I am beyond excited to be the President of this event and could not be happier about who I get to work with. I am also very much excited to start forming a team very soon. Beyond discussing the session topic in the committees, Riga 2022 will offer various opportunities to learn more about how digitalisation and new technologies are shaping our world today and what possibilities lie ahead. If shaping these learning opportunities and joining this event sounds appealing to you, I hope you keep your eyes open for further Officials Calls very soon. For now, I am delighted to start the work on Riga 2022 to make the event unforgettable not just for its participants but also for the network.”
