When there's an Egyptian, Lebanese, Polish and English in a Malaysian coliving home, we get an interesting and delicious home-cooked Arabian dinner night! Thoughtfully cooked separately in meat & meatless servings by Raghda. Thank you for such an amazing inpromptu dinner!🥰

Update:
Dear Hatcherian community,

Our beloved Ginger didn’t make it. She passed away around 8.40pm tonight. Her head injuries were serious and her condition worsened.

We are heartbroken and devastated by the news, and we know that many of you mourn her loss deeply just as we do.

Ginger lives on dearly in our memories and in all the lives that she has touched with her presence.

Dear friends,

On Tuesday, 17 Oct, morning, our dear Hatchery Place cat, Ginger, had an accident. Something heavy fell on top of her and she suffered head trauma. She is currently admitted to a local vet clinic under close observation. Fortunately, there are no signs of other injuries besides the head, but we understand that it will take a longer time to recover.

As a beloved cat doted upon by everyone who stays at THP and visits regularly, Ginger holds a special place in our hearts. We wish to request for your good thoughts, healing, prayers and love for Ginger to help her through this difficult time.

Our local community is doing everything to support Ginger the best we can. Please understand that we may not be able to respond to any messages at this point of time but we'll be sure to update when we can.

3 weeks ago this month, we had our last Community Book Sharing event of the year facilitated by of and we had such a blast!

The book we discussed was '13 Things Mentally Strong People Don't Do' by Amy Morin. Everyone shared their personal take on how they overcame their past challenges by adopting stronger mental strategies. New friendships and connections were made and everyone went home feeling glad for a Sunday well-spent! Thanks to all who came and made this afternoon so beautiful and meaningful! 💕

This is basically a rhythmic music making activity that anyone can take part in. Similar activities conducted around the world have been shown to help improve physical, mental and emotional health in participants; and are thus occasionally considered to be therapeutic.

No experience required to be part of this mini musical circle. There will also be a short drumbeat winding down to end the session.
Do come and join us in an experiential activity that will free your mind, heart including body. Free the rhythm in you while having fun!

Conversations Over Kind Meal: Our monthly affair with the community. Last week, our passionate vegan homecook chef Ainey Ai Ney, who lovingly whipped up a 3-course concoction of Tofuception for us.

Everything we thought was made of something else was made of tofu! Cauliflower popcorn chicken with tofu mayonnaise, Cheeseless Mac&cheese with tofu bacon bits, and mouth watering Tofumisu as dessert!!

What's even sweeter is, Ainey donates the proceeds of the mealshare to Furry Friends Farm, Malaysia. 😇🙏🏻

Last Saturday night, our coliving member .susannah cooked up a storm and served the community her special version of vegan cuisine. 🥗🥃
Our pilot mealshare event "Conversations over Kind Meal" kicked off successfully, as Susannah lovingly served us delicious yummy food and meaningful conversations.

We had so much laughter, fun stories, & friendship discoveries, as we savored the refreshingly healthy taste of home cooked food. Everyone went home with their hearts warmed and tummy full🥰. Thank you all who came and shared the meal. Thank you Susannah for being your awesome passionate authentic self and sharing your passion in cooking vegan food with us!
