Today is the last day of Hajj rites. It's also the last day of Eid. May we witness more of His blessings and favours. Importantly, may we be granted the opportunity of performing the next Hajj.

What a lot of some Muslim youth are doing today in the name of content creation makes me to wonder if they have any thought about the Hereafter. A popular skitmaker from Ilorin now dresses like a female in his videos. This is despite the fact that "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed men who copy women and cursed women who copy men."

What's the point of making people laugh while your commission is a curse by the Rasūlullāh?

▫️Ibn Sina said: A man with only one wife will be afflicted in body and soul, aging prematurely while in his prime. He will suffer from ailments in his back, neck, and joints. He will become more despairing, his energy will diminish, his cheerfulness will fade, and he will become prone to frequent complaints and grievances.

▫️Qadi Abi Mas'oud said: A man with only one wife is unfit to judge or to resolve disputes among people.

▫️Ibn Hayyan al-Tawhidi said: I have met people who would not allow a man with only one wife to sit among them, considering him to be of lesser status.

▫️Ibn Khaldun said: I have observed that the nations that have perished often had the custom of having only one wife.

▫️The slave of Allah Ibn Misar said: A man's worship is not complete if he has only one partner.

▫️Al-Ma'mun ibn Harun al-Rashid was told: In Basra, there are people who have only one wife. He replied: They are not real men; true men have multiple wives. They deviate from natural instinct and tradition.

▫️Ibn Younes al-Mazini was asked: Why did the Jews and Christians abandon polygamy? He replied: Those people have been struck with humiliation and misery and have incurred the wrath of God.

▫️Abu Maruf al-Karkhi was asked about people who claim to be ascetics and have only one wife. He said: Those are madmen. No matter how ascetic they are, they cannot compare to Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali.

▫️Ibn Fayadh was asked about men with only one wife. He said: Those are the living dead who eat, drink, and breathe.

▫️When Ibn Ishaq al-Nisaburi governed al-Karak, he withheld gifts from men with only one wife. When asked why, he said: These are God's funds; we do not give them to fools.

▫️Ibn Ata Allah said about men with only one wife: Those who do not follow the tradition of the great ones (meaning the Prophet and his companions) we consider them of lesser rank.

▫️When Taqi al-Din al-Mazini went as a jurist to Samarkand, he was told: These people have men with only one wife. He said: Are they really Muslims? (He doubted their faith). He preached to them and guided them, and within a month, three thousand marriages were conducted, ensuring no woman, whether virgin or widow, remained unmarried.

▫️Imam al-Husri said: When Allah mentioned marriage, He referred to pairs, threes, and fours, not starting with one. Then He mentioned pairs, threes, and fours, leaving one for last because it is a sign of men's incompleteness and fear...

Every single success you experience is a combination of two things: your effort and Allah's help.

Please don't forget your bedtime Adhkar and evening Recitations,sura Al Mulk (Quran chapter 67) and sura Al Sajdah (Quran chapter 32).

Is Sunnah to do them and the prophet salalaahu Alaihi wasalam said sura Al Mulk reciting it every evening will protect you from the punishment of the grave.

You can start reciting the sura from Magrib going, just make sure you recite it / the them before sleeping.

Your bedtime Adhkar also is to protect you throughout the night from the evil of the creations of Allah either the seen or the unseen.

May Allah have mercy on us and protect us throughout the night.

May He grant us tomorrow with good health,more success and guidance , halal money and enough provisions.

The only relationship where you will never have your heart broken is your relationship with Allah.

SUNNAH OF SLEEPING:

1. Brush your teeth before sleeping.

2. Sleeping with ablution is a sunnah.

3. Shake your blanket.

4. Recite suratul Mulk, Ikhlaas, falaq and Nas (3times), blow your palm and rub it over your body starting from the head and face.

5. Recite the sleeping DUA: "Bismika Allahuma amutu wa ahya."

6. Dont sleep on your stomach as it is the way of the people of hell and it is not liked by Allāh.

7. Sleep on your right side with your right hand on your cheek.

8. Recite SubhanAllah 33, Alhamdulillah 33, Allahu Akbar 34 times.

9. Recite Durood shareef .

10. Try to wake up early for tahajjud (if you are capable).

11. Put Allah first and set your alarm for salatul fajr.

Always remember: prayer is better than sleep. May almighty Allah protect us from shaitan and its allies.
