“Why is it important that we emphasize that s*x work is also ‘normal’ work? What is it like for s*x workers to work in Rotterdam and the surrounding area? What are misconceptions and stigmas that we really need to puncture in 2024? What are ‘Swerfs’? And is something changing under the current cabinet? During this program in the run-up to , we talk about it in Debatpodium Arminius with experience experts such as , Lisette Mepschen and Irina Hornstra, ***r.red, experts and audience in the room.
Kim Hoorweg, initiator of Vulvaverse presents the talk show.

q***r.red presents! Down & Dirty DIY Screening: Q***r S*x Worker P**n

part of P**n Film Festival Amsterdam

€6 Free with Cineville
Tickets via link in bio
45-60 minutes short films | English | International
Followed by 30 minutes Q&A & 10-15 minutes Performance
(Total duration: 1h 45m)

Raunchy. Hot. Political. DIY.

What happens when s*x workers from across the NL and the s*x industry come together over a month-long workshop to produce q***r p**n?

The Down & Dirty DIY P**n Workshop was a whore-y fantasy brought to life, sparked by this very question. Dreamed up by q***r s*x workers Mercy and Vivi—with their respective years-long experience in the s*x industry—and in collaboration with q***r.red, Down & Dirty DIY invited aspiring, current, and former s*x workers in Amsterdam & the NL into a month-long, peer-to-peer, p**n skill share. As a skill share, we wanted to engage the different knowledges of wh**es from across the industry, bridge gaps in the s*x worker community, all while making our own q***r fantasies realized in p**n—while using DIY and accessible methods.

And who better than other q***r s*x workers to conjure up hot, panty-dripping, and q***r-as-f**k scenes together? These series shorts will be a break from your average p**n. So buckle up, loves, you‘re in for a ride. The screening will preview all the films made in the workshop, include performances, and a Q&A with workshop facilitators & participants.

We have just a few days left to raise €3805. If you'd like to support us, now is the time ⏳

What will you be contributing to?
A beautiful record of four decades of neighbourhood cinema.

Filmhuis Cavia was founded forty years ago according to principles of solidarity, community and access. Despite the soaring costs of existing, we continue to charge €5 entry to ensure as many folks as possible can come by to enjoy our programming.

The warm and welcoming space that we create week after week is only possible thanks to the hard work and generosity of our collective of volunteers.

At the moment, we are in a phase of deep reflection, pondering what our space means and contributes to our community, especially amidst so many changes in our city and cinema-going worldwide.

Through the publication of a book in November 2024, we want to celebrate 40 years of our space, share stories and reflections from our archive, and lay the foundation for many more years of diy cinematic magic to come.

To make this dream a reality, we need a little help from you!
