Best wishes to Team Kanyarambha!

The project “Promoting Body Kindness,” with the slogan “Promote Positive Body Image and Support Good Mental Health,” was successfully carried out by Team Kanyarambha.

In December 2023, the team conducted two sanitization sessions for 160 students from secondary schools at Padmakanya Vidyaashram School and Trijyoti Secondary School.

Participants in the seminars gain knowledge about the different forms of body shaming, myths about it in Nepalese society, as well as its causes, effects, and remedies. The participants also sketched problems with body shaming that they had witnessed or experienced.

Additionally, their artwork was on show during the exhibition. Thus, through this session, the team aimed to encourage adolescents to lessen body shaming and increase their self-confidence.
