Heres a little story of how we got here:

Michael got a call being offered a spot for a pop-up for Baduzzi by The Hyundai Seoul. He flew over to Korea where he had meetings and trained up some chefs on signature Baduzzi dishes to be served. The Korean chefs were eager to replicate the dishes exactly how Baduzzi in Auckland do it. Michael was blown away with how humming the hospitality scene over there is. A month later just like that the Korea Baduzzi pop up was live!

Seeing Baduzzi uniforms and meatballs in a completely different cultural setting was surreal, but we loved every moment of it!

On the solemn occasion of ANZAC Day, both The Grove and Baduzzi are sincerely acknowledging the bravery of our heroes. On Thursday, 25th April, they’ll remain closed as a mark of respect, uniting with the nation in remembering. Let’s all pause and collectively honour the selfless spirit of the ANZACs.

With only 30 spaces - Brydie’s entry to the Mongol Derby was selected over 3500 applications. Three Kiwis including Brydie, will be completing 1000 km in 10 days across the original postal route that Genghis Khan rode on his famous tough ponies. Small in statue, they are some of the toughest ponies on the planet and it is the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest on a horse!!
Supporting Brydie in her ambition to conquer “The toughest horse race on Earth”, is ‘2024 World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Interim Heavyweight Campion’, NZ Athlete Joseph Parker.
To raise funds towards Brydie’s Mongolian journey, Baduzzi owner, Michael Dearth & WBO Interim Heavyweight Champion, Joseph Parker are hosting a long lunch at Baduzzi with you and 5 friends.
