Selamat Hari Raya! 🌘✨Celebrate Raya with OMSA and the Dunedin Malaysian community at Alhambra Union Rugby Football Club on Sunday, April 21st!

We're cooking up heaps of Malaysian food to keep you fed from 11:30 am to 5 pm, so drop in whenever you can or even stay for the whole thing! Menu items include (but are not limited to) rendang, roti jala, chicken curry, and nasi impit! 🥘🍲 There will also be games and prizes to keep you entertained between your "makan" (eating) sessions 🙌💕

Day 1: 23 March 2024
Time: 10.30am to 6.30pm
Location: Teachers College

Day 2: 24 March 2024
Time: 9.30am to 3.30pm
Location: Smithells Gym

Please take note of a new things:
1. Please bring your OMSA membership card on the day.
2. Players need to register for individual sports each time. For badminton, please register ahead of time before Sports Carnival commences. For all other sports, drop ins are available but we will still need you to fill out the registration form on the day.
3. Badminton players are to bring your own rackets.
4. Badminton players for the Mixed Double category must have a partner.
5. Please show up ahead of your event, registration for each event is 15 minutes before the match.

Bersatu Games this year is going to be held in Auckland! If you’ve never heard of it,
Bersatu Games is an annual Malaysian sport event between universities across New Zealand. This is your chance to represent Otago and meet other Malaysians from other parts of New Zealand!

2024 Bersatu Games
Location: Auckland
Date: 28 June 2024 (Fri) - 3 July 2024 (Wed)

To join, you must be a tertiary student or alumni. You also need to provide Malaysian Documentation such as birth certificate, identity card or passport.
