Each year we (OSSSA) runs a number of secondary school competitions. These include Touch and Handball during the summer terms and Boys Football and Curling during the winter terms. OSSSA also hosts a number of tournaments and events, both regional and national during the year.

Last week OSSSA held their 3rd and final combined schools international student event for 2024, an Olympics event. Students competed in a series of activities and games in teams, accumulating points for each,
Big congrats to John McGlashan College Junior and Senior teams who tied for 1st place.
Thanks to Sport Otago for Tu Manawa funding support to make this event free for students to partake in, everyone had a lot of fun!

The OSSSA lead weekly competitions based in Dunedin are wrapping up with finals this Wednesday! Check out the details, we hope to see you there cheering on your school.
John McGlashan and Otago Boys go head to head in the boys football final at Forsyth Barr Stadium! These 2 schools will meet again at 7pm but this time on the Ice Hockey rink. Columba and Bayfield will meet in the Curling division 1 final, with Kings and Bayfield playing off in the division 2 final.
