🟣 Throwback to International Women's Day 2021, Business-South (formerly the Otago Chamber of Commerce) and supporting partners Deloitte and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand held a luncheon to inspire, empower and celebrate women. 🟣

Giselle McLachlan, Rasha Abu-Safieh, Melanie Kerr and Melissa Jenner enthralled the audience with their stories, and Young Enterprise - Otago were delighted to host Stella from Taieri College and Charlotte from Columba College at the event. 🤩

🤩 As well as the two Dunedin-based Kickstart/Tīmatanga sessions held last week, we collaborated with Southland Business Chamber to deliver a session in Cromwell with Cromwell College, Dunstan High School and Mt Aspiring College. 🤩

The structure of the session was planned by Startup Dunedin in consultation with YES Otago teachers and was delivered in Cromwell by Coin South.

Thank you to Dean Gerling and the team at Cromwell Golf Club for the use of your venue and to Philip Ryan at New World Cromwell for the brain food for the students. 🍏🫗

⭐ Amazing day on Wednesday meeting the Dunedin-based 2023 YES Otago students. ⭐

Startup Dunedin worked with YES Otago teachers at the end of 2022 to come up with a new event that included a 60-minute Design Dash; a condensed 6-step version of the process the students will go through over the next 7 months. 🤩

Thank you to the students for embracing the process and coming up with some great ideas, and also our YES Otago sponsors and supporters. 🧡💙💜
