A stellar swim from Erika Fairweather (Neptune Swim Club) this evening at the New Zealand Masters Swimming Championships, clocking 1:55.30 in the 200m Freestyle to set a new personal best time and lower her Otago Open Record (subject to ratification)๐Ÿ”ฅ

Unfortunately, Erika's time will not count as a NZ Open Record, as the SNZ Record policy states that NZ records cannot be set in mixed gender events.

We are aware of a scam that is going around on Facebook, where Facebook profiles are impersonating legitimate businesses. Today we have received reports that this is happening to our page (see the below screenshot). We have reported the issue to Facebook, however it is up to Facebook to take down the fake profiles.

In the meantime, if you receive a "friend request" from Swimming Otago - DO NOT accept the request, this is a FAKE ACCOUNT (please report the account also!). The only way to find Swimming Otago on Facebook is via our official Swimming Otago page at Swimming Otago
