Over the month of November a group of Pioneer girls will be Moving for Movember!

Move is how The Order of Mo remembers the 60 men lost to su***de globally, every hour. To take part we will be running, walking, cycling or swimming 60km each (or more!) over the next month.

The girls are killing it out there! Last night at the Rugby Southland community awards Leila Hill was awarded Hinds Player of the year, Abby Smith was awarded under 18 Player of the year and Debbie Smith was awarded volunteer of the year. To top it off Abby has been named in the starting lineup for the NZ Barbarians game tomorrow! Great work ladies, how good!!! ❤️🤍

🏆TROPHY NIGHT🏆

Trophy night was held on Friday night and kicked off with the beautiful Vanessa and Steph receiving their 30 games blazers! These two battlers have been vital to the Pioneer women’s team over the years and give so much to the team both on and off the field, congratulations ladies!

Team award recipients include:

🏆 Mary Ogg Memorial hei Matau Mana trophy - Mollie Lyders

It’s the battle of Gore as the Pioneer girls take on Albion and if the last game between these two teams is anything to go by, it’s going to be an epic battle!!! Head down to the Showgrounds Friday night to support women’s rugby in Gore. As it’s a Pioneer home game the after match will be held at the Pioneer rugby club ❤️🤍
