We are stoked to be invited to sponsor Taranaki’s Coastal Five event for the fourth year running. 🏔️🏃♂️🏃♀️🏃
This is a deeply important event for the region and Habit Health, as it promotes a community event in which everyone can participate and fosters a lifelong love for the simple movement of walking and running.
We will be supporting the event with a physiotherapy tent and two of our local physiotherapists on hand to assess, patch and strap up any injuries that might occur on the event days, as well as give guidance on pre-race proper warm-up techniques and answer any general questions. 👍
After the event, participants will also receive a complimentary initial ACC physio assessment.
Check out www.coastalfive.co.nz for race and entry details. 👈

We had a fantastic time at "The Future of Health & Safety Conference" in Christchurch! The conference was packed with insightful presentations and discussions, with a particular highlight being the inspiring talk on mental health by Sir John Kerwin.
Our team, Belinda, Jack, and Russell, enjoyed connecting with both existing and potential customers and sharing our knowledge on workplace well-being. It was clear that the event was invaluable for providers and attendees alike.

Another successful expo in the books!
Last week, EAP Services' Relationship Managers, Jeremy and Russell, had an awesome opportunity to be part of the NZ Steel Health and Wellbeing Expo at Glenbrook, and what an incredible experience it was!
With 1500 dedicated employees at the Glenbrook site, they were happy to join forces with local and national providers to spread the word about our services. They had an absolute blast chatting with the diverse teams and divisions that make NZ Steel tick, from the innovative minds behind the scenes to the impressive machinery powered by New Zealand's very own ironsand.
A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to learn more about how Habit Health and EAP Services can be there for you, every step of the way.

What an awesome day at the Fonterra Te Rapa's Day Expo yesterday! One of our Key Account Managers, Daniel Kirkland, and our Regional Manager for Waikato, Chris Cooper, had a blast communicating the benefits of our EAP Services programme, and reminding the team that we provide counselling for life challenges and also practical support around budgeting, financial advice, career, personal legal questions and health coaching as well.
With over 350 attendees, it was truly engaging! Plus, we got to give away some awesome prizes! Thank you all for making it such a fun day!

In the pink!
We do love to come together for a good cause at Habit Health! On Friday, so many of our branches got together to celebrate Pink Shirt Day to stand tall and proud against bullying of all forms here in Aotearoa.
There were pink shirts, pink umbrellas, pink food and pink headbands. Working together to encourage diversity and kindness – gotta love our teams!

Navigating the demands of daily life can make prioritising our wellbeing feel like an uphill battle. Between work, relationships, and personal needs, it's easy to feel stretched thin. The pressure to put others first often leads to neglecting our own needs, sometimes resulting in burnout. Our Habit Health and EAP clinicians encounter these challenges regularly, prompting them to create a resource offering around-the-clock support.

Talking to tomorrow’s allied health superstars today - Habit Health at Career Fest!
This Thursday some of our Habit Health team had the opportunity to exhibit at Manukau Institute of Technology’s Career Fest! Aimed particularly at those studying nursing, counselling and social work, over 250 students attended the event. For our team, it was an excellent opportunity to korero with some of Aotearoa’s future allied healthcare workforce about their goals and professional aspirations, and how we can help to achieve them. There were loads of chats, questions answered and participants taking part in our occupational health checks. Oh, and there were lollies and giveaways too!
With our annual graduate programme, professional development initiatives and huge network of professionals, Habit Health is THE best place to start your career in allied health! We understand the importance of nurturing our team, and we encourage our clinicians every day to be the best that they can be.
Days like this prove that the future of our industry is in excellent hands, and if you see us at one of these events, come say hi! Our experienced team would love to talk to you.
