Pelvic Mapping ✨️
One of the common things we see in clinic surrounding is people's lack of proprioception. This can present as a disconnection to the pelvis, not being able to engage with muscles in this area and/or lack of accuracy of touch in this area. When pain is persistent in one area of the body, it can create central (🧠) changes and what we refer to as 'smudging' This can look like a smudge and blurry edges in a minds 👁 picture as opposed to fine, very distinct edges and crystal 🔮 clear picture. Consequently, inaccurate information can get passed from brain to pelvis and the output is often a 'best guess'.
Pelvic Mapping can be a really helpful, non-threatening, non-painful way of connecting with the pelvis. 🙌 Once we can retrain this pathway between brain and pelvis, we can begin to build amore accurate picture of what's going on down there 👌
If you would like support with your pelvic pain journey, then know you are not alone. We are here for you.
Today is this absolute beauty's last day in clinic ❤️❤️❤️ You are amazing. We love your passionate and caring approach to not only clients but to your whanau and our Team. We will miss you BIG time 🙏
Good to know you won't be far away and looking forward to the next round of Friday Night drinks already 🥂
Forever a member of the 😘
Happy Birthday to our Super 🌟 Erica 🥳
She is the embodiment of love and light 💛 We all hope you have a fabulous day, just like you.

The journey through bedwetting is unique for every child, and timing matters. Let's address the pivotal question: when is the right time to seek help?
Timing is Everything!
⏰ No Rush If You're Okay: If bedwetting is accepted by your family and doesn't bother you or your child, there's no need to rush for treatment.
📈 Natural Progression: Approximately 15% of bedwetters naturally improve or outgrow it every year.
Some other things to consider:
🤔 Is It Affecting You or Your Child? If bedwetting causes distress or concerns, seeking treatment is a positive step.
🌙 Nightly Struggles: If your child wets every night, experiences daytime problems, or is 10 years or older, the likelihood of outgrowing it on their own diminishes.
We are here to support your child's journey. Book an appointment today at www.fcphysio.co.nz
Ever wondered why some children experience bedwetting? Let's explore the factors that could be at play! 🤔💤
👉Primary bedwetting can run in families. If parents were bedwetters, there's a higher chance children may be too.
👉The bladder and nervous system maturing later can hinder the brain's signal to the bladder, causing nighttime accidents.
👉If your child is a deep sleeper, their brain may struggle to send timely signals to the bladder, leading to bedwetting.
👉Constipation can impact the bladder by exerting pressure, causing untimely release of urine.
Nicole here at Full Circle Physio specializes in addressing these issues and more, providing expert care for your child's well-being. We're here to help your child overcome bedwetting challenges. No issue is too small; no question is too big!
Book your appointment today and let's work towards dry nights together! Visit www.fcphysio.co.nz
As parents, it's natural to wonder about your child's toileting milestones. Let's address a common concern: bedwetting.
Q: When should my child be dry at night?
A: While many expect dryness by age 4-5, milestones vary. Up to 15% of 7-year-olds and 1-2% of teenagers experience nighttime wetting. It's more common than you think!

If you've recently had a C-section, we understand how challenging those first few weeks can be. Bed mobility is key to a smoother recovery. Here are 3 essential tips from Full Circle Physio to help you navigate those early days post-surgery:
1️⃣ Pillow Ramp: 🛌💕
Creating a pillow ramp in your bed can be a game-changer! The higher the ramp, the shorter the distance you need to travel when getting in and out of bed. Comfort and convenience in one!
2️⃣ Foot Stool: 🦶🪜
For those with higher beds, using a footstool can make a world of difference. It's a simple solution to ease the process of getting in and out of bed, reducing strain and discomfort.
3️⃣ Scar Support: 🙌🌼
Gentle pressure over your scar site is your best friend. Use your hand or a pillow to splint the area, providing increased comfort during transitions between positions. Your scar deserves some extra TLC!
Recovering from a C-section is a journey, and we're here to support you every step of the way. Remember, it's essential to listen to your body and take it at your own pace. We're here for you!
