The last few weeks have been pretty hectic! Starting my first semester of postgraduate study in psychology, sorting and making orders for the Kingi Kawakawa business, and also partaking in the Te Arawa Kapa Haka Regionals as a stallholder ❤️🤍🖤 all while being a māmā 😇

I’m so grateful for the auspicious opportunities that have been given to me through my small business and also the wicked people I get to meet and connect with 🫶🏾 I can’t wait too see what else the future has waiting around the corner.

These bad boys are now 🌱 VEGAN 🌱

There had been a few people who had asked about vegan options, also some who were allergic to beeswax but still wanted a balm.

So, we tossed the beeswax to the side and used sunflower wax 🌻

I think these lip balms will be a crowd pleaser 🥳 both the bubblegum and plain lip balm are now vegan and will remain the same price, $5.

We often get asked what the difference is between our olive oil based products and our apricot kernel oil based products… so I decided to do a quick information sheet.

Our olive oil based products are the go-to choice for every skin type, while the apricot kernel oil based products are recommended for those with more sensitive (like pēpi) or mature skin types.

Overall, kawakawa is a great healing agent for anything and everything. A healer of the body, mind and soul. ☁️🧠💪🏽

Happy New Year from The Kingi Kawakawa whānau! 🎇

I have been quite inactive but no worries I have been nesting to welcome our Kingi baby into this world. Now 6 weeks old, he is happy, healthy and thriving 😇 Thankfully I have my māmā and little brother to help me keep the kawakawa demand up! My mum will be helping with orders and also with keeping the social medias up to date…

The name ‘Kingi’ for both Kingi Kawakawa and the name of my son is a dedication to my pāpā would we lost almost 2 years ago now to cancer. After making products for myself to help with my own sensitive skin and to also benefit te taha hinengaro, my dad pushed me to turn it in a business! Soon after I was selling kawakawa balms and oils and Kingi Kawakawa was established 🌱
