Hamilton Zoo trip - Day 1

HUGE mihi to the Fire and Emergency NZ National Training Centre, for allowing us to partake in this awesome kaupapa.

When the hoses the training centre use to train the recruits have holes and cannot be repaired, they donate these to the zoo, who use them to make swings in the chimpanzee enclosures.
They had two loads to go across and allowed to invite tamariki in our community to join them!

Thank you to the training centre and all the volunteers that made this day possible and FREE for our tamariki! For the lunches provided, the transport, the experience and the time you volunteered to make memories with our tamariki!

Thank you to our parent helpers and most importantly, our tamariki!

I hope you all had an AMAZING time!
