💐 Spring & Summer tend to be very productive - Coming into Autumn we start planning & preparing for winter...

🌿Many of our people are currently harvesting their Kumara and preparing them for storage - The Kai of our Tupuna. This is the result of a lot of hard labour, time & effort, and even hardship, low energy, no support and sickness... All to ensure there is Kai to last through winter - The Kumara then goes through additional processes to avoid the kai from becoming pirau/rotten. The abundant yield of Kumara is always held in great respect, it is celebrated and shared...

🌿This labour full activity that yields abundance - can be seen in our everyday life! ✨For example - Have you worked hard to surround yourself and share your abundance? Have you studied hard and now aligned with a career path that benefits our people? Have you worked out to improve your health and that of your whanau?

🌕 Rakaunui – Full moon 20/21st October 🌿 commonly known as a Hunter’s moon representing the time of year when our ancestors would tend to resources such as gardens, hunt and gather to dry/ferment - forward planning food storage in preparation for winter.

🌿Likewise, Now is a great time for contemplating the resources in your life. Assess what may be lacking, as well as what you are carrying around that is no longer needed – spring clean, release and find gratitude for the blessings you have.
✨ Resources come in many forms ranging from physical resources like money, to emotional resources like love and support. There is always give and take… as such, this is also an excellent time to reflect on the ways you can give.

💐while in this time - plan forward. Always remember our Tupuna didn’t prepare for winter with only themselves in mind, they did it as a whanau/hapu/iwi. Strengthen your connections, let go of the old and embrace the renewed where possible; physically and emotionally.

🌬️ Breath Work Affirmation: Haa ki roto, Haa ki waho. ✨Breathe in through your nose for 4sec/Hold it for 4sec/Exhale out of mouth for 4sec - repeat this 4times with the following affirmations.
