Firstly I want to thank you all for sticking with me through the year, it has been a tough one and I'm grateful to have been able to help ease some of your pain and stress. Being a close contact service, as of the 3rd of December I will be checking the vaccination status of my clients using the new 'Covid Pass verifier app'. I am fully vaccinated and by law will not be able to massage the unvaccinated. I'm sure you are all sorting this out for other situations as well but here is the link to get a pass:

Hello everyone!

As of Thursday the 9th of September I will be taking bookings for massages again. There are a few safety measures that I will be implementing to keep you safe. Firstly there will be a QR code for you to scan on entering the building and I will also ask you to use the hand sanitiser provided. I will be wearing a facemask for all massages and will have masks available for you to use, which I suggest, especially when you are face up.

This lockdown period is probably a time you'd rather not be without your massage therapist with stressful situations and a less than ideal work set up at home. Rachelle has been a massage therapist for over 13 years. During a long trip through Asia in 2007, she received many wonderful massages and was inspired to complete a Certificate of Relaxation Massage from the New Zealand College of Massage. She became proficient in Swedish massage techniques for relaxation, stress relief and deeper tissue work.

In 2011 Rachelle finished her Diploma in Health Sciences, majoring in therapeutic massage at the New Zealand College of Massage. This diploma further extended her knowledge of postural analysis, muscle testing, anatomy and physiology, NMT and remedial massage techniques. Rachelle has a particular interest in trigger point therapy. She believes it can be used to help many pain complaints from pseudo-sciatica to headaches. Rachelle recently returned home after two and a half years living in Montreal and New York. She also holds a Bachelor of Music (classical flute), a Bachelor of Music (honours) in Jazz, and a Graduate Diploma of Arts (history). She has a particular interest in working with and helping fellow musicians and you might also catch her playing music around Wellington.
