Another fun party celebrated today. Horse riding, pet cuddles, treasure hunt and this gorgeous cake all enjoyed. Thanks for choosing us again to party with.
Ahhh Wednesday fun! We put together the new bubble blower then headed out in the rain to experiment with them. Rain continued as we fed the animals.
The sun came out for the afternoon, so we went on a prickle hunt and removal activity, found extra long grass for the bunnies, fed the sheep and explored the workings of our new float.
Come join us for some farm based fun. We would love to share the happiness. Www.tricklecreek.co.nz to book.
This Saturday has no parties booked which is rare, so it's time for some weekend riding lessons instead. 11am, 1pm and 4pm slots available online www.tricklecreek.co.nz under horse riding and care.
More fun parties enjoyed this weekend, yummy cakes too!
Thanks for partying with us.
A wild windy day in the Horokiwi hills, but we still had fun sharing the love of Horse today. Thanks for the photos too Rebecca 😊
Finding long wavey grass for the bunnies, guinea pigs and Scoobie Doo. Discovering the workings of a bubble machine, being creative through painting, cutting with scissors and using a colour scratch pad for the first time - magic!
Spaces available on Wednesdays, casual bookings welcome. Www.tricklecreek.co.nz to book an experience. Come join our adventures
A fun day at the paddock today, this afternoon a course was set up to challenge Horse while he was ridden ba****ck and in a halter rope. Designed and tested by our rider, who giggled his way around the course. Thanks to his mum for the lovely photos too.
Wow Horokiwi put on fabulous weather for our weekend parties. Here are the gorgeous cakes that matched well with the lovely birthday kids. Thanks for choosing us to party with. 😃
A busy hands on kinda day as we made our way around the farm. Highlights were looking after pets, climbing trees and playing trains in the woodstack. Wooden seats and tickets, lots of places to get on and off along with a few obstacles like a fire on the tracks, a carriage breakdown and unpaid tickets. 😅🤣
Wow wee a grand finale to our school holiday fun. They set up a vegan restaurant here at Trickle Creek. They created the menu, made a credit card for me to use, and utilized the stapler as a card scanner. They discussed costs, discounts and formed a partnership. I was well fed and well looked after! We created a real sandwich from their flavour choices which was super yummy. They looked after the horses, fed them, rode them and even shoveled a bit of p**p. Bring on term 4
I have spaces available this term for our Wednesday farm based daycare, if you know anyone who could be interested please share this post. Thanks to everyone who supported our school holiday programmes and the wider supporters who liked and shared our pages. You're awesome.
We made apple crumble after getting the morning hay for Scoobie. Concentration was needed to peel the apples, mixing and eating it much easier. We collected sticks and made a fire to toast our marshmallows too. One more day to go for our school holiday programmes. Gosh it's gone by fast.
Wacky Wednesday at Trickle Creek! Lots of fun dressing up in the caravan, arts explored, lemons collected and made into lemonade, and elastic marshmallow bracelets to eat on the go, pets loved and fed as always.
Only 2 days to go to join in our farm based fun. Come join us Www.tricklecreek.co.nz
Shout out to our newest followers! We are excited to have you onboard and hope to see you soon at TrickleCreek! Paora Tamati, Joseph Hetaraka, Liyah Avia, Brigitta Walbaekken.
How cool an experience we had having Alan the shearer visit to shear, drench and cut the toe nails of our sheep. Alan answered all their question and showed how he uses both hand clippers and electric shears. He comes with incredible credentials as he won the world champs shearing 6 sheep in 13 minutes. He told us he also sheared a 25 year old alpaca. The oldest in NZ at the time. Check out our day, we brought in the sheep, packed the wool into bags too. Plus heaps more...
Welcome to our second week of our school holiday programmes. We looked after the pets, enjoyed arts and crafts, made billions of bubbles and had a hay rolling competition. We even got a horse ride in before the rain came pelting down. We played loads of games including board games, made popcorn. Tomorrow we hope to have and watch the sheep being shorn. Come join us in play, bookings can be made www.tricklecreek.co.nz under school holiday programmes, flexible hours too.
A day of horse riding and fairies. We made magical bells to hang in the fairy garden, and found elves, fairies and bunnies while playing in there too. We climbed hills and slid down on our butts. We tried on the dressups, sang as we played and supported the little ones as needed. Great end to our first week. Come join us for the second week, ride horses, look after pets and be as creative as you can. Www.tricklecreek.co.nz
We snuggled in with the bunnies and guinea pigs after painting old cd's on the old turntable. We had a lego building competition and rode Horse in the fog. We enjoyed a lollipop hunt and popcorn too. Life on the farm...awesomeness
A very creative group today who made bouquet pot frames from their gathered collections of daisies, flowers and grasses. Stick collections, dress ups, pets and horse riding of course, hill climbing, creek play, lemonade making and loads of art and crafts. Busy busy.
We have spaces available if you want to join us this Friday or next week. Www.tricklecreek.co.nz
Today we surprised Alana with a birthday cake and card. Alana kindly shared her cake with us at lunchtime. It was a lot cooler today than yesterday so we found ways to warm up. Horse riding, a firepit, even rolling down the hill. All our fur babies were loved and treated to extra goodies. We decided to count with stones how many pets we have at Trickle Creek. The number set in stones is 52! (That did include the 18 goldfish though 😆). Another fun day. Come join us. Www.tricklecreek.co.nz
