"LAUNCH OUT IN THE DEEP" ⛵
Luke 5:1-11

The deeper relationship you have for the Lord, the greater your love grows, the harder your troubles are, the stronger your faith becomes, the more we are tried and tested by Him and we trust that we have Jesus in our life, that's when God reveals the miracle working power and the Great God that He is!

That's why we don't have to be afraid to let our fishing nets to launch out in the deep because many fishes can be catched in the deeper depths of the sea, just like how Jesus commanded Simon: "Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught."
Do not stay in a shallow kind of serving in the Lord, serve Him deeper than ever, because the deeper your faith is, the greater blessing you will receive.

Angels are known to be the first worshipper and the deliverer of God's message but did you know what the main purpose of the Angels are? Why did God created angels?
Tonight, we are going study about why did God designed the Angels...

"THE BEST FOR THE ALTAR"⛺

Have you been wondering of what's best for your altar?
In the said scripture above, Abraham was asked to go to the land of Moriah to offer his son Isaac for a burnt offering.
The first thing that God had told Abraham, is to secure a location for an offering. The location has to be a place that God had decided to put you in. It should be a place where your first cry and your first worship to the Lord was offered, it is your local church! You should stay in that altar of yours because God had put you on where you are right now!
Secondly, when they came to the place God had told him of, Abraham built an altar and laid the wood in order. You see, God wants everything to be in order, that is why He wants his children to keep the holiness and for us to disconnect ourselves to the world!
When Isaac asked Abraham where the sacrifice is, he only showed his son the faith he has. Even though he knew that the supposed burnt offering would be his only son, Abraham didn't complain to God about it, he just put his trust in Him for he knows that God has a greater plan for them.

We shouldn't be hesitant of giving the best for the altar, because it is not your pastor, or your brother and definitely not your sister that you have to charm, it is the Lord that you have to please! SO GIVE ONLY THE BEST TO THE LORD!

The foundation of your house is important because it holds your dwelling together and supports the entirety of a building. As the passage says in Matthew 7:24-27:

25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
A wise man built a house upon a rock whereas, a foolish man built a house upon the sand, the rain descended, the wind blew and the floods came, from there, the durability of the houses were tried and tested. The house that was founded upon a rock stood still as it had a durable power to stand against the strong wind and the outpouring of the rain.

The house is just like us, if we were founded upon a ROCK, we will be able to surpass all the disasters that might come, if we have JESUS in our life which is the ROCK, even the impossible occurence can turn into possible because He is a God of Impossible!

Meeting our Lord Jesus in prayer!🌿

In tonight's prayer meeting, we were able to tackle a study about who God is. It is a way of knowing who truly the Lord our God is, for He is the God that we worship, serve and praise during our sunday service, prayer meetings, overnight prayers and even in our everyday lives, we don't start or end our day without feeling the presence of our Lord or praying to the One True God which is the Lord Jesus Christ.

God is...
• The creator (Genesis 1:1)
• Eternal (Isaiah 40:28, Genesis 21:33)
• Living (Revelation 1:17-18, Mark 12:27)
• Omnipresent- present everywhere at the same time (Proverbs 15:3, Psalms 139:7-10)
• Omnipotent- has every potential of power (Isaiah 55:11, Jeremiah 32:17)
• Omniscient- all-knowing God (A God who knows everything) (John 21:17, 1 John 3:20)
• A spirit (John 4:24)
• One (Deuteronomy 6:4)
• Our Father (2 Corinthians 6:18)

What is a true friend?
Is it someone that could run long distance just to provide your safety and comfort? Is it someone you have known for its kindness and empathy years ago?

If we take a look at what the scripture says in John 15:12-14:
¹² This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
¹³ Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
¹⁴ Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

A true friend that possesses greater love is a man that could lay down his life for his friends. Your school friend might leave you, a neighbor friend might forget you, a best friend might neglect you but Jesus won't. Jesus is a true friend we can all have because in order for you to be saved, he had laid down his life for you.

Why do you have to worry about your future, if you have a God of provider, God of healing, a God who can turn impossible things into possible, a God who is full of mercy and grace, a God who shed his blood to save you from sin, a God who knows your future more than anyone else?

Do not be anxious about tomorrow and trust the Lord, because He has already prepared something greater for you!

If you have lost the fire of desire in serving the Lord or turned your back to Him. Always remember that He hath left the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and search for one that was lost. If God noticed that one soul had left the church, He will come and look for that lost soul because one soul matters!

"ARE YOU FOR THE LORD OR NOT?"

In John 6:64-71,
Jesus provides food for thousands of His followers in chapter 6. In order to accomplish this, He divides a little meal mysteriously, leaving more food than He started with. The crowd first applauds Jesus with great enthusiasm, filled with amazement. Jesus speaks to the multitude once more after sending the disciples across the Sea of Galilee and walking on water to save them from a storm. This time, He highlights the lesson in spirituality that His previous miracle taught. Most of the people who had been worshiping Jesus then disappointedly turn away from Him.

Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not and who should betray him for many of his disciples walked with him but turned their backs thereof. Simon Peter who denied Jesus three times answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life." And Jesus answered them, "Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?" The last verse says, "He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve."

The same goes for us, the FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST, before we were born the Lord had known us, before we were chosen he had known you as one of His 'CHOSEN PEOPLE' and before one of us decided to follow Jesus, he had known if you are to leave him or stay and endure up until the end.

There are three types of people in the church:

1.LEAF PEOPLE
• They often come in season.
• You can't depend on them for they are weak.
• They can easily fall off.

2. BRANCH PEOPLE
• When life becomes tough, they cannot handle too much weight.
(Galatians 6:5 - For every man shall bear his own burden.)
• When given load, they can break easily.

3. ROOT PEOPLE
• Root people are very important because these people possesses humbleness in their hearts.
• They don't do things to be seen.
(Matthew 6:3 - But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth.)
• They are supportive.
• They work for the ministry of the Lord not for the sake of bragging.
• They also stay even when times are difficult.

Matthew 6:4
That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
