INVITING INTERESTED SOLO MOTHERS RESIDING IN CEBU CITY!

In partnership with the New Zealand Embassy Manila and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, CCCI will be conducting an online ICT & Life Skills Training for Solo Mothers in the City of Cebu.

This training course covers IT knowledge and skills (Freelancing 101, Facebook for Business, etc.) and Life Skills (Entrepreneurial mindset, customer service & financial literacy) to improve the capabilities of the solo mothers who are currently unemployed or financially unstable, to be technologically equipped, especially in terms of virtual assistance and social media marketing.

1st part of the ICT training is on October 18-22, 2021 and a one-on-one mentoring session with the trainer from October 24 - November 5. Life Skills Training will be on November 8 - 9, 2021.

We are deeply happy that these shields does not only represent our help to our frontliners but also to the volunteers who have made these.

Our volunteers — who are part of those who have lost almost 2 month's worth of work — through this campaign, will know that despite all these there are people who would want to help. Thus, somehow alleviating COVID19's impact.

The Cebu City Progressive Uptown Movement (CCPUM) at its 9th year in advocating for a strong collaboration between the public and the private sector in attaining a wholesome and inclusive growth for Cebu, launches “Project Shield” - a donation campaign against COVID-19 with the purpose of helping (1) provide sufficient supply of face shields to Cebu’s frontliners and at the same time (2) aid fellow Cebuanos who lost their job due to COVID-19's economical impact through forming them part of this initiative.
