Your generous support Alvin M. Dizon and Project Smile with the feeding program at the DICE Center is always appreciated. With this partnership, we are able to serve nutritious meal/snacks to our 150 beneficiaries and help prevent stunting to these children.

Project Smile forges partnership with Barangay Banilad, Cebu City. Daghang salamat to Brgy Captain Lea Japson and former City Councilor Alvin Dizon for the support.

Project Smile recently reached out to the female detainees at Cebu City Jail Female Dormitory with donations of hygiene items. Due to the rising temperatures caused by El Niño, detainees are more susceptible to illness, and their access to healthcare and sanitary kits is very limited. The donations greatly help our Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) maintain proper hygiene. Thank you, VHC and former Cebu City Councilor Alvin Dizon for the support.

Today, Project Smile visited Barangay Carreta and served the fire victims of Sitio Kalapukan with hotmeals. Thank you to all our partners and volunteers. We will continue to help in our small ways. With kindness and compassion, we make the heavy loads we are all carrying a bit lighter.

Sustainable living

The situation for children in the Middle East is catastrophic, with unrelenting bombing and a massive increase in the displacement of children and families.

Children have been killed and injured.

UNICEF is continuing to respond to the critical needs of children across the Gaza Strip, but access is becoming increasingly difficult and dangerous.

We need an immediate humanitarian pause to ensure unhindered and safe access to children in need, no matter who they are or where they are. There are rules of war. Children in Gaza need lifesaving support and every minute counts.
