‼️‼️Recently in CYA ADDU‼️‼️

CYA Davao recently had its chapter prayer meeting on August 12, 2023 at Youth Center, Ponciano with students coming from different units (AdDU, UM, and MCM). A talk about Faith, Personal Growth, and Purpose was given to them as they enter a new journey this AY 2023-2024. Small groups for sharing and fellowship followed after the talk 🫂

Meanwhile, Ateneo de Davao celebrates its 75th Fiesta today along with the feast of the school patron saint - Our Lady of the Assumption held at Martin Hall and Arrupe Hall, various activities such as Marian Procession, Eucharistic Mass, Kakanin Festival, and Perya Bazaar were the highlights of today's fiesta. CYA celebrates with them by having a booth full of fun and interactive games that surely the students enjoyed. Happy Fiesta Ateneo🥳

In line with the global celebration for the feast of Ignatius 500; the Ignatian Year, and in collaboration with the Ateneo Christian Life Community (ACLC), CYA AdDU brings your the "IGNATIAN YOUTH TALKS: what would St. Ignatius do?"; a series of talks that would help us discover together what St. Ignatius would likely do in dealing with matters we usually face as young people.

This Wednesday, we go to the FIRST talk of the year-long series entitled; "It's a yes for me: I am part of the creation". This is about the environment and God's creations, and how St. Ignatius would deal with these things. This will be given Mrs. Carmela Marie Santos of the ECOTENEO.

More than a year ever since the pandemic struck, a continuous rise in mental health related concerns among the youth have been recorded.
Students, especially, may feel as though things get out of control when deadlines and projects are piled up and stress becomes too overwhelming.
Join us on August 28 for a mental health symposium with guest speaker Fr. Jordan Orbe, S.J., Psy.D., where we discuss how students can cope with their stressors amidst the pandemic and digital learning, and where they can go when in need of support.
