Aloha! CMOR celebrates the beauty of being single.

The "single" status personnel of the Civil-Military Operations Regiment (CMOR) had a blast at the CMOR-wide singles night at Jarque Hall, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City yesterday, August 30.

The singles night was a vibrant celebration of the beauty of being single-themed with their Hawaiian outfit, which was also participated in by the CMOR battalions. It was a night of fun, friendship, and camaraderie, from engaging games and lively music to delicious food and friendly conversations.

CMOR values its personnel well-being and recognizes the unique advantages of single personnel in providing opportunities to meet, unwind, and have a good time where singles connect with others who share similar interests and values.

CMOR will continue to develop professional growth and personal fulfillment activities that will help its personnel better organize and perform their roles in the organization.

Every drop counts! A heartfelt thank you to all the heroes who contributed to collecting 26,181 blood bags. Your selflessness is saving lives and making a difference. Together, we are stronger!

The Philippine Army, along with their partner agencies and organizations, would like to extend their gratitude to the participants of the recently concluded Philippine Army-wide Blood Donation Campaign. This campaign is in line with the commemoration of the National Heroes' Day, and aims to not only raise awareness on the importance of voluntary blood donation, but also to bolster the nation's blood supply in order to help the patients of various medical conditions in the country. In total, 26,181 blood bags were collected.

In essence, every blood donor can now be considered as a hero, because every blood bag they donated can result to up to three lives saved.

All Singles, Put Your Hands Up!

As part of the Civil-Military Operations Regiment's month-long celebration of its 71st Anniversary, CMOR held the "Single's Day" for all of its personnel who are single based on their civil status, and have no marriage experience today, Aug 30.

For the first phase of said event, a Braintalk with significant topics for singles were held. These topics presented included: S*x Education, presented by Captain John Oscar Barrera; Financial Management, by Major Claire Dolino; and Career Advancements and Opportunities for Progress, by Sergeant Major Warren Bautista.

These topics highlighted the importance of valuing one's time and utilizing it for preparations for married life whilst one is still single, thus the emphasis on sexual health, financial savviness, and career stability.

Future Army leaders reality series premiers Sept. 1

The Philippine Army will unveil its first-ever reality series ‘Life in the OCS’ featuring the training journey of seven Army officers in a premier screening at the University of Makati Auditorium, West Rembo, Taguig City on September 1, 2024.

‘Life in the OCS’ is a reality series produced by the Army Personnel Management Center that features the journey of seven Army officer applicants from diverse backgrounds at the Philippine Army Officer Candidate School (PAOCS), from their oath-taking until they are commissioned as Second Lieutenants. New episodes will be released weekly through the ‘Join the Army’ and the 'Philippine Army' pages and YouTube channels starting September

Aligned with National Heroes' Day, this initiative was designed not only to promote the crucial need for voluntary blood donation but also to strengthen our nation’s blood reserves for those in need. We are pleased to report that we have collected 984 blood bags in the Areas of Davao Region.

Your contributions make a significant impact—each donation has the potential to save up to three lives. We deeply appreciate your dedication and heroism.
