UPDATE: Inaasahang lalakas pa at maging isang TROPICAL STORM ang BAGYONG sa mga susunod na oras habang ang BAGYONG naman ay lumabas na sa Philippine Area of Responsibility ngayong umaga, Hulyo 20, 2024.

Huling namataan ang BAGYONG CARINA ngayong umaga sa layong 510 km Silangan Hilagang-Silangan ng Virac Catanduanes. May lakas ng hangin ito na umaabot sa 55 km/h at pagbugso na aabot sa 70 km/h. Kumikilos ito sa direksyon na West Northwestward sa bilis na 30 km/h. Inaasahan itong dadaan sa katubigan malapit sa sa mga susunod nacaraw at hahatakin ang Hanging Habagat o Southwest Monsoon na magdadala ng mga pag-ulan sa kanlurang bahagi ng sa susunod na 3 araw. Asahan ang pagtaas ng TROPICAL CYCLONE WIND SIGNALS NO. 1 sa at silangang bahagi ng . Lalakas pa ito lalo at maging isang TYPHOON ngayong Martes, Hulyo 23, 2024. Lalabas ito ng Philippine Area of Responsibility ngayong Huwebes, Hulyo 25, 2024 at posibleng makakaapekto sa Eastern China.

Clean-up and clearing of Sitio Nagay, Sebario River.

The objective of this activity is the effective way to clear waste from natural habitats. Moreover, the visual impact of seeing others cleaning up a particular place littered with waste can have a domino effect and compel people to reflect on their actions.

What is the purpose of river clean-up?

While focussing on prevention to stop plastics before they reach rivers, we still clean highly polluted rivers because the legacy waste needs to be removed from nature to avoid further damage to ecosystems and frequent flooding.

What are the benefits of this river clean-up?
