28 April 2024 - In view of the latest heat index forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) and the announcement of a nationwide transport strike, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on April 29 and 30, 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.

However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled, provided that measures for the safety of all participants have been carefully considered.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.

However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled.

📣ADVISORY

In consideration of the safety and well-being of the learners and faculty affected by intense heat, IN-PERSON CLASSES in Kindergarten to Grade 12 in all public schools in the City of Malolos on April 2 and 3, 2024 are hereby suspended.

Conduct of modular/online distance learning should be closely monitored/supervised by the school head & supervisors.

Private schools are given the discretion to decide to shift to distance learning depending on the condition of the learners, faculty and school facility. However, the administration of the Grade 6 NAT on Wednesday will proceed as scheduled.

The surging temperature resulted to considerable number of heat-related illnesses as reported by the Department of Education - Schools Division Office.

The City Health Office advise everyone to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, and take necessary precautions to prevent heat-related illnesses.

Please be guided accordingly.

CMIS Sto. Rosario JHS Department participated in the conduct of the First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill on March 25, 2024.

CMIS Sto. Rosario partakes in the conduct of the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

In an effort to ensure the well-being of its learners, teachers, and non-teaching staff, CMIS- Sto. Rosario joined the public in the conduct of the 1st Quarter NSED.

The drill was designed to educate everyone with the appropriate protocols to adhere to in case of a seismic event, thereby reducing potential damage and facilitating a prompt response.

The drill included teaching the learners how to "Duck, Cover, and Hold On," which entails dropping to the ground, hiding behind a substantial piece of furniture, and holding on to it until the shaking stops. Experts in disaster management advise using this technique to safeguard yourself during an earthquake.

In conclusion, the earthquake drill was a successful endeavor that helped prepare everyone for potential emergencies. The school administration and emergency response team will continue to refine and update their preparedness plan to ensure the best possible outcome in the event of a real earthquake.
