Grade 10 learners attend career guidance orientation
Around 180 Grade 10 learners gathered at Bonifacio Javier National High School (BJNHS) covered court to attend the Career Guidance Orientation, February 21, 2024.
Dr. Jayvie Guballo, Rizal Technological University (RTU) professor and BJNHS alumnus, shared relevant information and tips on how learners will be able to decide for their track or strand in the senior high school (SHS).
"Nasa labas ng apat na sulok ng klasrum ang totoong laban ng buhay, wala sa school," Dr. Guballo shared.
After the RTU professor's talk, Mrs. Angelica Plazo, Head Teacher III of the Technology and Livelihood Education department, presented the possible jobs that are aligned to the SHS tracks and strands that maybe chosen by the students.
The orientation spearheaded by Mrs. Evelyn Arcangel, Head Teacher III and school guidance coordinator, is part of the school's CASH-IN Program which aims to campaign for higher enrolment rate as the school transitions into a standalone senior high school.
