Halos lahat sa inyo ay alam na ang kasalukuyang isyu tungkol sa West Philippine Sea. At ang iba ay maaaring sabihin:

"Ano ba ang espesyal sa Dagat na iyan?"
"Bakit hindi ninyo na lang i-bigay sa Tsina upang matapos na ang pangyayaring 'to?"
"Mahigit pitong libo ang isla natin dito sa Pilipinas, kaya i-suko na lang sana bago pa lumala ang nangyayari."

Ngunit, sana'y ating mapagtanto na ang West Philippine Sea ay hindi lamang isang bahagi ng karagatan; ito ay tahanan ng napakaraming yamang-dagat na nagbibigay ng kabuhayan sa libu-libong Pilipino na siya ring mahalagang bahagi ng ating kasaysayan at kinabukasan. Kaya, ang mga opisyal ng UNESCO Club ay sumagot ng iilang katanungan na tiyak na makapagbibigay ng kaalaman sa inyong lahat.

Ang isyu ng West Philippine Sea ay isang mahalagang usapin na may malalim na epekto sa pambansang interes ng Pilipinas. Ang tahasang pagharang ng mga Chinese Coast Guard sa ating Armed Forces of the Philippines at Philippine Navy sa pagbibigay ng resupply mission sa ating mga sundalo sa BRP Sierra Madre sa Ayungin Shoal ay lubhang nakababahala para sa ating kaligtasan.

Bilang mamamayang Pilipino, mahalaga na maunawaan natin ang isyung tinatalakay at gamitin natin ang ating boses upang mamulat at makapagpamulat sa isyung kinahaharap ng ating bansa sapagkat marapat nating ipaglaban ang ating karapatan nang naaayon sa batas, prinsipyo, at puso natin bilang sambayanang Pilipino.

Huwag matakot na ipahayag ang saloobin, lumaban para sa karapatan, at magbigay ng kaalaman sa ating mga kababayan.

Magkakasama tayong susulong, Pilipinas. Lagi't lagi, para sa bayan. 🇵🇭

Eid al-Adha, is one of the most significant holidays in Islam. It commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Isma'il (Ishmael) as an act of obedience to God's command. In commemoration of this event, our muslim brothers and sisters around the world sacrifice animals, distribute meat to the less fortunate, perform prayers, and spend time with family and friends. Eid al-Adha serves as a reminder of the importance of faith, sacrifice, and community in the life of a Muslim. It's a time of reflection, gratitude, and generosity.

May the blessings of Eid al-Adha fill your hearts with joy, your homes with laughter, and your lives with peace and prosperity. Eid Mubarak to all our fellow Muslims! 🌙✨

In addition to being the second-to-last day before 2023, we as The UNESCO would like to commemorate this day as an especially significant holiday since it marks the 127𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨, 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥!

Remember that near the end of the Spanish colonial era in the Philippines, José Protasio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda was a writer, polymath, and Filipino nationalist.
