University of Santo Tomas Central Student Council

In accordance with Article XI, Section 6 of the UST Central Student Council Constitution of 2003, the CSC Central Board (CSC CB), in the absence of elected and qualified CSC Executive Board Officers, shall take over and assume the functions of the executive and the central board.

To officially assume the executive function of the Central Student Council in this vacancy, the Central Board resolved its appointment of the Officers-in-Charge for each Executive Board Office.

Despite the existence of the Safe Spaces Act or the ‘Bawal Bastos Law’, it is undeniable that cases of harassment and assault is rampant in society.

With this, the council calls for the amendment and advancement of the Safe Spaces Act, necessitating the need for stricter implementation and consequence to perpetrators.

Safe spaces should not be an ideal situation but rather the right and reality of everyone.
