The National University-Manila Architecture Student Council sending its deepest condolences to the Families of Gual C. Alcaba, Jr. You may be gone, but your legacy will remain to people’s heart and mind.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of 𝗦𝗞 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗖. 𝗔𝗹𝗰𝗮𝗯𝗮 𝗝𝗿. Gual was a beloved member of our community, whose presence and dedication touched the lives of many.

UAPSA NU community extends our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. He served as our former Director for Social Media for F.Y. ‘23-’24, Chapter Executive Director for Ways and Means for F.Y. ‘22-’23 and Ways & Means Director for F.Y. ‘21-’22. He also became the UAPSA National Chair, Committee on Ways and Means for F.Y. ’22-‘23

Gual has significantly lifted our community through his commitment and passion, changing countless lives in the process. His kindness, charity, and guidance will never be forgotten. Through his dreams, we are motivated to forge ahead with his purpose and principles. Indeed he represented everything he held dear whilst ensuring positivity within our community.

On behalf of the UAPSA NU, we honor Gual’s memory and the remarkable contributions he made. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide us in all our endeavors.

Rest in peace, Gual. You will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

| With the surging red rainfall warning issued on Metro Manila by the NDRRMC, serious flooding and landslides are possible. The NUCSG Disaster Management and Community Affairs shares the following emergency hotline and evacuation areas in the National Capital Region amid the severe flooding in Metro Manila due to and the southwest monsoon.

Typhoon Carina intensified on Wednesday morning and is expected to make landfall in Taiwan by afternoon or evening, according to Pagasa. As of 11:00 a.m., Carina was 345 kilometers north-northeast of Itbayat, Batanes, with maximum sustained winds of 165 kph and gusts up to 205 kph. It is forecasted to cross Taiwan and exit the Philippine area of responsibility by Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

The tenth day of every month used to be the deadline for the first term. On the other hand, November 4 is the clearing date according to this year's approved calendar.
