RUMOROLYONG HIMIG: FILM ANLONG WORKSHOP

Alongside Himig Himbing at Ako workshop, there will be a Film Workshop to be facilitated by Christopher Gozum, entitled Film Anlong Workshop, or Film Poetry Workshop. The workshop offers basic film making for elementary teachers, with the use of current and available technology.

This also happens on September 13 at the Dagupan City National High School. An online orientation for participants shall be held on September 6 via Zoom.

HIMIG HIMBING AT AKO: CREATIVE EXPRESSION WORKSHOP

The Cultural Center of the Philippines, in cooperation with the Office of the Honorable Christopher de Venecia, Representative of the 4th District of Pangasinan, along with the Department of Trade and Industry-Region I, and Department of Education, is bringing its Himig Himbing project to the Galila Arts Festival, entitled Himig Himbing: Oyayin Niyanakan.

Himig Himbing at Ako will bring Music, Literature, and Visual Arts together in a workshop. This is geared toward nurturers--parents, teachers, breastfeeding mothers, social workers, among others.

Facilitating the whole day workshop are book author Dr. Luis Gatmaitan, ethnomusicologist Sol Maris Trinidad, and visual artist Beth Parrocha. Together, they have curated a Creative Expression workshop, aimed for nurturers to express through art. This happens on September 13 at the Dagupan City National High School.
