The Brotherhood of Scholars provided free rides on UP Ikot jeepneys last July 12, from 7 AM to 11 AM, for students, faculty, and staff.

Our last weeklong anniversary event aimed to support our community by easing transportation and promoting accessibility. Watch out for more initiatives like this to come!

The Brotherhood of Scholars handed out free roses and ice cream at Fernandez Street, last July 10. This event aimed to show appreciation and kindness to our the members of our university.

From July 9 to 11, the U.P. Beta Sigma Ladies Corps hosted a successful 3-day thrift store pop-up, 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 ‘𝐧' 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐩, along Fernandez Street as part of our income-generating projects (IGP). Thank you to everyone who came out to support us! Rest assured, the proceeds from this event will be used to support projects that will benefit the U.P. community. The UP Beta Sigma Fraternity held a Co****le clinic and mini tournament with exciting prizes and freebies, all while everyone enjoyed some delicious free ice cream by the side.

This event aimed to foster camaraderie and sportsmanship among participants. It was a day of fun and friendly competition, highlighting the importance of university bonding.

July 14, 1946 marks the founding of the UP Beta Sigma Fraternity, a brotherhood built on a tradition of excellence and leadership.

As we celebrate the 78th anniversary of the UP Beta Sigma Fraternity, we reflect on 78 years of demonstrating the virtues of brotherhood, integrity, equality, loyalty, and service. These core values have been our compass through decades of growth and achievement.

As we DOMINATE at 78, the Brotherhood of Scholars will continue to be in constant pursuit of representing all that is good and noble in man.

We distributed at Pook Daang Tubo Basketball Court and Pook Dagohoy Basketball Court, and continued by giving free rice to students, faculty, and staff at Benton Hall, Palma Hall, and Lagmay Hall. We look forward to bringing you more activities like this in the future.

This initiative greatly benefited the families of the recipients, providing much-needed assistance. The Brotherhood of Scholars remains committed to uplifting our community through meaningful projects like these.

Be part of our final event, 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐚 𝐔𝐏 𝐈𝐤𝐨𝐭, where we will be giving out free rides from 7 AM to 11 AM this Friday, July 12. Three UP Ikot jeepneys will be going around the UP Ikot route during this time, offering rides that are free of charge.

The UP Beta Sigma Fraternity sends out a greeting to all mothers this Mother’s Day. A mother’s sacrifice, from the pain of childbirth to the hard work of childcare, will always be remembered and celebrated.

The UP Beta Sigma Ladies Corps would like to thank Ildeme Demee Mahinay Koch for leading our Women's Month celebration and inspiring the UP community with her empowering words!

Demee Koch, recognized as one of the Global FWN Most Influential Filipina and a member of the Forbes Business Council, is a distinguished speaker, author, and expert in conscious beauty and entrepreneurship. She authored the book "Becoming Miss Right: A Holistic Journey to Fulfillment" and founded the beauty brand De Moi. Despite her success, she remains committed to social change, serving as a board member of the Breaking Silence Movement and collaborating with Voice of the Free and the UP Cebu High School Scholarship Program.

Thank you once again, Demee! The women of UP BSLC are immensely grateful for your presence and the honor you've bestowed upon us by gracing our event! 🤍

Today, we celebrate the life and achievements of Dr. Jose Rizal. A gifted polymath who impressed Europeans on his travels abroad, Dr. Rizal put his gifts to good use by advocating for the rights of Filipinos and exposing the despicable state of colonial society. He chose to return to the Philippines to continue his work in the mother country. For daring to speak out against the abuses of the Spanish colonizers, they put him to death.

As we commemorate this selfless man, who refused to take the path of least resistance out of patriotism, we must remember to follow in his footsteps. Let us end the reign of greed and ignorance over our nation with the power of truth and education.
