Binigyang-linaw ni DILG Provincial Director Uldarico Razal, Jr. ang tungkol sa pag-upo sa puwesto ng mga bagong halal na barangay officials.
Ayon kay PD Razal, oras na makapag-comply na sa requirements ang mga bagong halal na opisyal, tulad ng pagsumite ng Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) at pagsumpa, ay bibigyan ang mga ito ng 'Certificate of Incumbency' mula sa DILG, hudyat ng pagsisimula ng kanilang serbisyo.
Paliwanag pa niya, nauna nang itinakda ang petsang Nobyembre 30 dakong alas-12 ng tanghali, upang sabay-sabay na umupo sa puwesto ang mga naihalal.
Ngunit dahil aniya sa ruling ng Supreme Court ay hindi na hihintayin ang petsang ito, basta makapagkumpleto na sa mga rekisito ang mga ito.
Ito aniya ay dahil naka-'hold over' na lamang ang mga incumbent barangay officials, dahil sa pagkakaextend ng kanilang termino na nakatakdang magtapos noong Disyembre 2022.
