*YOUM E ISTEHSAL*.
Albert Einstein says, ’Freedom in any case is only possible by constantly working for it ' and Kashmirs are struggling for so many years for their right of self determination and freedom. 5th August is observed as YOUM E ISTEHSAL as on 5th August 2019, India took illegal and unilateral steps in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) in a bid to change its internationally recognized disputed status and to alter the demographic structure of the occupied territory. These measures constitute nothing but an Indian attempt to obliterate the distinct Kashmiri identity in violation of the United Nations Security Council Resolutions and international law, including the 4th Geneva Convention.
Youm-e-Istehsal or the 'Day of Exploitation' is a day observed as a reaction to the Revocation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. The Government of Pakistan subsequently designated 5 August to be observed as the Youm-e-Istehsal annually since 2020. It is observed to show Pakistan’s support and unity with the people of Kashmir and to pay homage to all who died in the conflict.
